For years now, Matt, Tyler and Jose have been run-in buddies while doin’ their own thing. Matt has been building out restaurants and bars for well over a decade. Tyler has been leveraging his design skills both as a contractor and as a food stylist over that span. Jose has been killing it in lower Queen Anne as the owner and operator of Laredos Grill.
In the heart of the pandemic, these three amigos decided to look past the doom and gloom and envision what it could look like once we’re on the other side of it. Where would we like our overdue reunions to happen when it’s safe for friends and family to gather again? Where will we break bread and what meal would we share?

Awesome restaurant. I went in with no expectations and was pleasantly surprised. The food was great and the staff was super friendly. I had the French Onion soup which was excellent and the beet salad which was very fresh. The wings were good and came with different dipping sauces.

First time here, and I really liked it. Fun vibes and neat decor to look at. Super friendly staff. Food was delicious, ESPECIALLY their banana cream dessert. We ordered a French dip with tater tots, a double smash burger, and fries. It was delicious . We’ll totally be back soon!

The avocado toast *with smoked salmon* was good, the prime rib melt was dry and chewy, definitely disappointed by that. The service was great and the mimosas were delish. The drinks were strong (which my friend enjoyed lol) kinda of a dark atmosphere if you’re not sitting at the bar.

Want to relive memories of your grandparents’ cool basement?! This is your place! Menu is diverse yet familiar, comfort food without a gut punch. Staff is attentive and friendly. Our every need was met before we even asked. Our food took no more than 10 minutes to arrive after ordering, and the place was pretty lively! This is making it into our regular rotation! Fresh sheet changes regularly!

Cool hidden gem off the main strip of old Burien. 80s-Midwest-comfort inspired decor and menu. Restaurant seems well taken care of. Plenty of outdoor seating which is dog friendly, and lots of seating inside. Good cocktails, and food was great. Smash burger is on point, and the steak I had was cooked perfectly to temp. Definitely looking forward to coming back again.

I don’t think the food was the problem, I think my picker was the problem because the food looked great the ahi was good the sauce was good the kale salad was so hard to chew the croutons were tooth bashers and I only have half my teeth so that may be the problem they got great mocktails and I’m sure the cocktails are delicious we had ahi tuna it was good just was a lot!!

My husband and I decided to go here for our 34th Anniversary. We went here for the first time to get smash burgers. Our daughter had been here once before and sat outside. My daughter had an impossible smash burger with fries, my husband had a single smash burger with fries and a side salad and I had a double smash burger with fries and a 1/2 wedge salad. All the food was great. The reason I gave this place a 3 1/2 was the darkness inside, we couldn’t read our menus and they had the most uncomfortable chairs! My husband and I are big people, so that’s on us, but my daughter is not and her back hurt when she got done with dinner. She said the chairs outside were more comfortable. When I get my food I want to see it, check for doneness, any other issues that might make me weary of taking my first bite. After we were over half way through dinner the wait person asked us how we were doing and we mentioned how dark it was, he then brought us a small but bright lamp and set it in the middle of our table, we didn’t know we had to ask for one..Reasonable prices, but next time we will order our food to go next time.

A a great little bar and grill, the staff was amazing. Jeremiah, our server was hilarious and kept us laughing all the time. he was very quick witted and he laughed so hard. it was really good we got a artichoke spinach dip, with pita, I got the steak kebabs, my husband and son both got smash burgers and french fries. we all had cocktails and it was a fun time had by all. The food was delicious.
