I had my hopes up to enjoy a nice meal. The price tag on the menu said nice meal. What was delivered was average and at times a poor meal. DO NOT get the dry wings. It is a dry mouth full of spice dust with some chicken. Spicey sawdust is the best description. It is not balanced, enjoyable or a good texture.

We were hopeful with the description of seafood and steak. The baked potato was coated in salt. The oven roasted chicken’s skin must have been coated highly in oil based on how crunchy it was. The martini pours were only so so. The asparagus was good as was the arugula salad. Most everything on the new menu is fried or a cream sauce.

CONS: Service was painfully slow, and I think they use instant mashed potatoes that are really thick and sticky, not appetizing.

Well if it wasn’t for the casino paying for the food I wouldn’t even eat here food over priced won’t even charge extra for a side of mushrooms. When I ordered the appetizer I was rushed to order my food. Can’t bring your drink from the casino to the restaurant cause they charge for the drink in the restaurant and in the casino they are free.

Agree with most of the previous reviews. The food was average but overpriced. The service was terrible – we were rushed, entree came before we had two bites of salad, server (Summer) never checked back to see if our orders ok or not. Eat elsewhere or go hungry – both are better options than eating here.

Stay away from this restaurant! Expensive, food and service was terrible!! First waitress was very rude. Second one did better. Don’t expect vegetables to be cooked if you order them and for meat/fish to be dry. Bread rolls and butter were good. And “forced”gratuity added to bill. Casino is small and lots of machines were off or out of order but it was still fun.

$173.40 for a buffet for four people. No steak, seafood was the main course. Outrageous fora a meal in Dodge City. They should put the burger and french fries place back in over this over rated fireside grill. Will tell anyone going to eat before going to the casino. Would of cost over forty dollars per person, screw that for picked over buffet food.

Food was decent but beware of your final price. Sat with a group, total at the table was 7, including my husband and me, we were on separate tickets. Group of 5 on one ticket and my husband and myself on one ticket. My ticket total before tip was $60, this was itemized and included tax, then my final ticket to sign was $72 with the option to write in a tip. I requested an explanation of the difference and manager said it was because we were with a group and there was an automatic gratuity added. The group of 5 that was on a ticket together at same table also was charge automatic gratuity. The explanation that manager gave as to why both tickets at one table was charged automatic gratuity was because that’s just how the state is and how it rings up. It was said if our table had a split in between our ticket wouldn’t have had the automatic gratuity. He was not willing to change the price. Upsetting and wrong in my opinion. Regardless just be careful, they might have added your tip automatically and you not know but it still has a tip line to add.

Advertises as Dodge City’s finest restaurant, more like most expensive. I had the Mahi-Mahi and have had better frozen dinners. I didn’t feel like getting a loan to eat one of their steaks. If you’re in Dodge City for anything but gambling, eat anywhere else.

Can not eat here if you are under 21, so not a place to bring the family. Only casino based restaurant that I have experienced them refusing to allow families to eat. I am sure the food was better where we ended up eating anyway, and they saved me money by me not wanting to go back later without the kids to gamble.
