They have done a stunning job in this space. I am so happy to see it thriving with the new edition of Little Debbie’s down in the basement. I have to say it from the beginning. the interior design of this restaurant is what caught my eye first, It might seem small but what they have done with it has really opened it up and made every place you sit, feel so cozy AND fancy. I’ve continued to go back for their Montenegro on tap, a celebratory dinner, or just enjoy the company of the staff. The cocktails are great and even the name for the non-alcoholic cocktails is something I can buy with 😉

Great vibes in this cozy downtown date night spot. Enter in the back alley-like door. (I’ve passed right by the unassuming door, not knowing it was a restaurant!)

Checked out First & Last last night with some friends and it was definitely a great experience! The cocktails were amazingly crafted, I personally recommend the The Scenic Route. The jalapeno cheddar cornbread and the whipped feta appetizers were also incredible. The atmosphere is very cool and inviting and is a great place to have drinks and chat with friends… We will definitely be back again.

One of our favorite spots in the Valley. We visited again this past weekend, and the service and food were exceptional, as always. We each tried something new. We started with the crab, and I’m certain we will now order that every time if it’s on the menu. We typically try whatever their current chicken option is, and it was fabulous (and a HUGE portion). My husband really enjoyed the Sonoma Valley Magret Duck Breast. Thanks for another wonderful dining experience, First & Last!

Atmosphere is great, drinks are good too. But the food lacked flavor and presentation. I got the chorizo pasta and only had 3 pieces of sausage the dish was over powered with Parmesan cheese flavor. Also not the pasta as advertised.

Went here for my birthday. I ordered the quail. It was really yummy and no, it did not taste like chicken. It tasted…like quail on a bed of cabbage. The cabbage I thought was a little too sweet but it went well with the pepitas seeds, as it added crunch.

This place has an amazing vibe and we love the decor. The service was pretty good and the food overall was good though we felt that it was very overpriced for what you get. I will say the manager was fantastic. My friend sent her dish back because she didn’t care for it and the way the manager handled it was impressive. Service gets 5-stars, food (for the value) gets 3 stars. My swordfish without any sides at all was $38, just to put it into context. We would probably come back for happy hour but not sure about dinner.

This is easily the most well rounded restaurant in all of Phoenix. The menu is seasonal except for a 2-3 main stays, the atmosphere is uniquely upscale but not pretentious, and the food is consistently a hit. What stands out about this restaurant is how upscale they make simple dishes feel/taste. My favorite ribeye in the world can be found here but you can just as easily find your next favorite pasta here as well. You cannot go wrong with anything on the menu but I would recommend getting the crab if it’s available. Ingredients are seasonal so everything is always fresh. Finally, cocktails here are diverse and fun. Worth coming just to get drinks at the bar!

I recently came here and was really looking forward to it as I’ve heard nothing but good things. I will admit, I wasn’t the biggest fan of the food. Me and the person I came with felt bad because we were really wanting to get out of our comfort zone and try something new. However, our server, Jen did an awesome job. She was kind and quick. The drinks were very good. We did happen to send a dish back because paying nearly $40 for something we weren’t feeling on a day of celebration was a tough pill to swallow. She handled it with grace though and reassured me. We got dessert which was lovely and rich, and the ambience of the interior design and music were great.
