I hope that this review will be taken in the constructive spirit in which it is given. I have been to this restaurant several time in the past with favorable experiences. Unfortunately tonight, June 30 was an unfortunate exception. I came in with my guest at around 4pm. There were at most four other people seated at the bar with only a few tables filled in the restaurant. There were 2 staff (I will not call them servers as that was the furthest thing from their collective minds). After sitting for a couple minutes we received two dinner menus with no mention of a happy hour menu. After spending at least 10 minutes trying to make eye contact with the bar staff who were disinterested in checking in, I finally asked and received a menu. Several more minutes passed before I had to alert the staff that we wanted to order food. The kitchen was no better as it took 30 minutes to receive a meatball, order of fries and order of calamari. While the food was good, the lack of attention really ruined the experience. The few other patrons seating in proximity had the same experience.

I came here for lunch on a Sunday afternoon with a group of 6 others. It was easy to spot from the road and also had parking onsite. The menu was large and they offered lunch from 12-4pm. The pizza was extremely good, however the chicken dish I got needed a bit of salt. The service was also quite slow, but I will say extremely nice! It was a good visit overall.

Food was great, had the Cajun Burger… not really spicy (but im from Louisiana, so i am biased). Service was slow, but the waitresses was very nice. Lovely atmosphere. I would come back for sure.

Was curious to try this place. Waited a while to be sat even though I was told I was first on the waitlist. Got seated and waited 20 min before having to flag down the one waitress working the entire floor to get the table some drinks. She did not even look our way before we called her over and told us she “didn’t even know we’re here”. The restaurant was not even busy. Waited another 15 for the drinks and decided to leave after not receiving them at all. Waste of time, staff is disorganized.

I’ve been a patron of first and last for years now. My last order was extremely disappointing. We all love a thin crust pizza but this delivery was the thinnest crust I’ve ever seen. To the point of feeling ripped off. Lately the pizza makers have been using to much cheese for my liking so I asked to use just a tad less Mozz than usually used. What I got was a paper thin crust pizza with sauce and just about no cheese. I may not go back now. Very dissatisfied.

My wife and I have lived in Glastonbury for the past 20 years and for some reason we never tried the First and Last Tavern, well March 20th 2023 we changed that we decided to take out some food from first and Last, since moving to Connecticut from Philadelphia a million years ago I have been trying to find the Pat Steaks of the greater Hartford area, I ordered a Philly steak sandwich which I’ll be short was awful, it was a dry roll with burnt up steak and onions, my wife had the Cheddar Burger which almost seemed pre prepared like the ones yo use to get a the drive in theater wrapped in tin foil, but the worst was yet to come. We ordered the calamari and I don’t know where they got the recipe but the Calamari without a doubt was the worst I’ve ever had in the 60 years I’ve been eating it the price was right $50 but the food would have been better if w had eaten at McDonald’s.

Awesome quality food, had to order arugula salad with shrimp (for keto diet) but it was so satisfying! Large grilled shrimp aside a light, crunchy, fresh salad! The bartender was not super friendly. Would totally go back! From a past experience, their seasonal cranberry margarita is phenomenal!!

Came in with a party of 6. 3 of 6 meals were made wrong. For $182.57 we all expected better service & meal. Getting ignored for a refill on drinks. We are not coming to the Glastonbury location ever again.
