First Mile is one of our favorite places to dine in Wichita! They provide the highest quality food, with incredible service and passion that is hard to miss. We’ve attended our second wine dinner at First Mile, and we cannot recommend highly enough. Chef Nick Korbee and team are masters of their crafts. First Mile Kitchen is well worth the visit in Wichita, Kansas!

Very disappointed in the food here! First timers. The Buffalo mushroom appetizer came out cold and didn’t taste that great. We thought maybe it just wasn’t our thing and we were excited about the entrees. I got the Halibut risotto and husband got the Steak and fries. My risotto was mushy and flavorless. It tasted like overcooked microwaveable brown rice? And the fish had no flavor either, I added so much salt just to make it bearable because I wasn’t going to waste it after how much it cost. My husbands steak was good but it was also not hot for some reason. The shoestring fries were the best thing on the table. Our server was also very nice and the restaurant looks great. Won’t be back though!

Our first visit to First Mile Kitchen did not disappoint. Their menu rotates through the seasons, so what you see online may not be totally accurate. Everything we ordered was delicious! We had never tried bone marrow before, and our waitress-Lauren – was very helpful in our decision making. We were glad we tried it!

Hands down, the most unique cuisine I’ve experienced in a long time! The food was world class, the drinks very refreshing, and the atmosphere very warm and inviting. I can’t wait to come back here for our next night out, also the menu is very reasonable for the quality put into each dish! Come check this place out when you’re in Wichita!!

I LOVE brunch at the First Mile Kitchen. The brunch cocktails are creative and delicious and the Egg Shop Takeover in June was absolutely amazing! I had the chicken salad last time which is not something I would normally get, but our server convinced me when she said it was her favorite. I was NOT disappointed.

There is nothing that I don’t love about this place. I love the staff- they are hip, knowledgeable and incredible at making their guests feel comfortable. The food is the best in Wichita, and I feel like this is just a fact. Elevated but not stuffy, exceptional service and meal. No photos because I was too busy having a culinary religious experience.
