The Cafe has a classy, light modern theme with a touch of rustic. The waitress did well, but she forgot to tell me to pay up front so I sat with my card out on the table for fifteen minutes before I finally snagged her attention. Everything arrived promptly after ordering, which was refreshing. The coffee was minty sweet and, at $5.25, a good price compared to Starbucks. The brioche French toast with warmed syrup was delicious and I left satisfied, however, it was overpriced at $13. All in all, I would like to try another dish or two so I may be coming back!

My new favorite breakfast place in Lynchburg. The restaurant was clean and BUSY, clearly a very popular place to go. Staff was very kind and quick. I ordered the Elevated Egg Sandwich and the fresh squeezed juice special – both delicious. My fiance ordered the Market Skillet Hash. I would definitely recommend this restaurant! It seems they get very busy around brunch hours (10:30-12:00) so I would suggest arriving for an earlier time.

This was such a lovely place to have brunch. The staff were super nice and friendly. We got seated right away and the food came out quickly too. They have a great selection of brunch food and a decent one for drinks/coffee.

I ate at First Watch today for the first time and I had such a great experience. They have a new Fall menu out and I loved the pumpkin pancake. Our waitress, Bria was so kind and helpful and she made sure we had the best dining experience. I would absolutely come back again!!!

This our first visit to First Watch! We’ll be back! It was amazing and such a great location. They have both indoor and outdoors covered seating. I had one of there sandwiches and my wife a salad. The breakfast menus looked awesome so we’ll be back soon to try that. Our server was very friendly and helpful being our first visit. Try it, like us you be back!

So glad we didn’t let the bad reviews keep us from giving this place a try. The food, service, and atmosphere were all great and I definitely want to come again.

Fantastic service (Anna was awesome), atmosphere, and cleanliness. Weekday at 9AM there was plenty of activity but no wait. I’ve been to this chain in other cities and food was amazingly fresh, justifying a premium price. This is not supposed to be a “quantity over quality” brand. My juice drink, Morning Meditation, was SO good. I like beet juice so I sipped that straight off the top at first before stirring the thing up. My avacado toast seems like they went for quantity there. The toast was good bread but wasn’t warmed, and the avacados had been halved long enough before without lemon juice so as to cause the unappealing brown, but it was tasty. The eggs were great and my husband loved his quinoa bowl. I love having this in Lynchburg and I only make the specifics known to keep this location in line with other locations, because this is the kind of food and place I want to go out to breakfast for.

I absolutely love this place! The food always taste fresh and the staff is always very prompt and courteous. On top of that I greatly appreciate that their website has carb count that you can easily customize based on what you do or don’t want on you entrée. My toddler is T1d and this feature has made going out to eat way less stressful and much more enjoyable. Thank you!

Service was great. Coffee was delicious. I ordered a pancake with cheesy eggs and chicken sausage. Food was good except the bottom of my pancake was slightly burnt and it was dry as Popeyes biscuits. On the other hand, my eggs were super cheesy and absolutely perfect.
