We have been going here for years. We love it ! Only problem is, the million dollar bacon. The bacon used to be THICK and Delicious, now just thin Sysco bacon. We tried it again at a different location, and they told us : Oh yeah, I know what you mean, guess they cut back because of costs. Oh well, will still enjoy breakfast ,just won’t waste our money on million $ bacon.

We went here to have a celebration brunch for my daughter & my birthday!! The food & drinks were great!! Our waitress Kaitlyn was super nice & attentive & put in my granddaughters order first so she would be happy!! And at the end when we went to checkout there was a register issue & the manager Luis handled the situation like a top notch boss!! Great overall experience & we will most definitely be back!!

I have worked in the restaurant industry for a little under a decade (including first watch years ago). I see that the restaurant has not lost its dedication to quality food. I had French toast and an egg sandwich with some water. The whole experience was probably 45 minutes, the server always made sure to come by and check on me along with his other tables. He followed the company’s service policies (greet within so many minutes, offer coffee, provide syrup if needed etc.) However, the atmosphere reminded me just why I did not work at first watch for ling. It was busy, the store was closing in only one more hour, and the cook had to constantly “tap tap tap” for people to run out hot food that customers were waiting on. Now I can’t help but look around and notice that every server/hostess were walking as fast as their feet could let them and was constantly helping a customer out-but the MANAGER stood in the same place the whole time I was there. After I asked some of the staff if the manager is productive in making sure the restaurant keeps its flow, all I got back was that it was a ongoing issue with the manager. The same thing happened when I worked at first watch. The manager could have been working on something in the time i was there, sure. but why would he work on something at the busiest hour at first watch knowing that the restaurant closes in an hour, and he can do whatever he needs to do then. There was hot food waiting, and all his employees were busy doing their jobs. Someone please look into this because your staff represents the company well but the manager is going to run away good workers- guaranteed.

We love First Watch and the Venice location is one of our favorite stops when we are in the area. Cookie is amazing and we love when she can wait on us. She always has a great kind spirit about her and does a good job keeping my coffee hot! The food is absolutely amazing, fresh and your taste buds will explode with flavor. 5 stars for service, food and cleanliness.

We went to breakfest with the family good experience good food. Food quality was good delicious I had a omlette because I’m on keto kids had pancakes. They substituted the toast for fruit for me. One child ordered a waffle she did not like it so they brought her out a pancake. Coffee was good had kind of a country taste to it. Excellent service for it being packed. Did not wait for a table for very long. Nice decoration in restaurant has a rustic feeling.

Table for four. We went here for breakfast over the weekend and it was a very busy place. The restaurant has both inside and dog friendly outside dining. The food was really good but note it’s a health concus place. They serve only breakfast and lunch which are both available during business hours. The staff was really nice but very slow. The waitress asked if we were ready to order before we really had time to look over the menu. We asked for a few minutes but I think she forgot about us, as we had to wave her down almost fifteen minutes later. The restaurant itself was very clean including the restrooms. Three of us ordered omelets and they were very good. My hubby ordered over easy eggs and they were more like over medium eggs. The prices were on the higher side of the spectrum but we still enjoyed our breakfast.

My meal was nothing special, although my friend’s salad was delicious. The wait staff handled our large group very skillfully. My major complaint is that this chain allows dogs into all parts of their establishment. I don’t especially care if they are outside at all times, but my husband is so against these pseudo “service dogs” that he has stated he will never eat at any First Watch. Period.

I noticed others stated this was a good place for breakfast and lunch. So, I tried it this morning with my wife and our dog, Brooklyn. Service was awesome, the food was awesome, and the prices were affordable. We will return to this fine establishment and we will refer others. I had the biscuits and turkey gravy, she had the bran pancakes.
