The cat fish was delicious. Hush puppies are the best I’ve ever had. Really good prices for a plate that came with fries, 3 pieces of fish, hush puppies and shrimp. The Tartar sauce has a different flavor from other tartar sauces.

Best red snapper I’ve had in a while, I’m happy to support a black owned business in Long Beach. Keep up the good work and I’ll be back! Oh and I had already eaten one portion of the fish that was seasoned to perfection!

Went in on a Saturday afternoon in search of something different to have for lunch. Came in and ordered a shrimp Po boy. Can confidently say it was the best I’ve had since having one down in New Orleans. Shrimp was perfectly cooked and full of flavor. Came with a side of fries and was honestly worth every penny. Staff was very friendly and helpful with answering any questions. Will definitely be coming back again to try more food.

I expected the fish to tickle my taste buds since it was so bragged upon through television and social media. Spices are a great part of seafood seasoning and without that the meat taste bland, the whole lunch was bland and to be completely honest I really don’t think that I will add this restaurant to my frequent visit restaurant list.

Tried Fish Bone’s fish and shrimp combo, and I picked catfish as my fish selection. The fish is nicely fried and came out piping hot, which is always appreciated. The shrimp however was a bit over fried, bit still enjoyable. Overall, food was leaning on the salty side, would be perfect if they sell beer to go with the food. As for sides, collard greens are pretty good, but the rice was a bit mushy.

Came in here for a lunch special. My oh my! Way too delicious to walk out still kinda hungry But now i know to get the dinner special instead. There were no bones in the red snapper and it was nice and fresh. The flavor was phenomenal. Wasn’t too crazy about the macaroni salad. It tastes like it came ready made from the grocery store. But overall pretty good. I’d come here again and try some grilled fish instead.

Not all Fish Bone restaurants are created equal, but this particular location stood out above the rest…at least the other 5 Fish Bone restaurants I have patronized. The fish was cooked to perfection…no too dry….not to soft and seasoned just right. The other critique noted was that the restaurant was seemingly ran by just young black men….that is to say I did not see any women there. These young men were handling business! They were professional and at least on first impression, did an excellent job. Additionally, the restaurant was clean and there were a lot of customers. RECOMMENDED!
