This was a fun little place. We had the oysters on a half shell as an appetizer; just can’t beat east coast oysters. We had a few cocktails, that were very tasty. As our main core we had the grilled scallops and shrimp wrapped in apple smoked bacon on top of mashed potatoes. This meal was fantastic, if I had one recommendation it would be to make the mashed potatoes from scratch, these tasted instant and for the price you want the real thing. Over all great place, the staff was on point, the food and drinks were so good. I will definitely be back.

A great casual dining experience at Fish City Grill. We went on a Friday at 6pm and we’re seated immediately at a table on the patio. Our server, Vinnie, was fun and engaging. The food was delicious. Ample portions on the Fish and Chips. The Chicken Fried Chicken was huge and tasted like home cooking. We’re definitely going back to try their desserts! Kinda pricey but this place is a winner.

Small place inside but they also have plenty of outdoor seating under the shade with a nice view. I had the watermelon margarita, was very fresh and delicious. I also had the patron margarita that was a little more stronger, delicious also. The chicken fried chicken with the jalapeño cream salsa was delicious,not spicy. The portion was huge, I’d say you could share it or take half home for leftovers.

My experience at this restaurant was excellent. Our large group sat on the patio. Our server was awesome. The food was great. I had the Shrimp Cobb Salad. Delicious. Someone came out & thanked the servicemen at our table. Then, someone from the kitchen came out and spoke about the food and thanked us for being there. I recommend trying the Roasted Jalapeño Soup and the Oyster Nachos. Pics are of the Shrimp Cobb Salad and Calamari.

Excellent service, food and atmosphere!! First time there, had some calamari, herb crusted tilapia and shrimp with rice and asparagus. Finished off with bread pudding. Loved it!!

The atmosphere is very modern and clean with a good selection of music. The wait staff was awesome! I order the Fish and Chips was 3 nice size pieces of cod on a bed of French fries. taste was average and the tartar sauce condiment cup was small. The string French fries were over fried and tasted greasy even with ketchup but you get a good portion size. My daughter got the Lobster and Shrimp Grill Cheese with mash potatoes. She said that it was very tasty and the portion size was good. I thought the prices were too high but the place was packed. I won’t be going back because it’s above my budget but I would recommend people try it at least one time.

I was in town for a work conference and saw this quaint spot. I had the shrimp and crab queso (amazing), and the applewood bacon wrapped shrimp and scallops with spinach over mashed potatoes. The food and service were awesome. The portions are great, and they have daily specials. If you are ever in Waco and want some great food, then visit Fish City Grill and ask for Vince!

We absolutely loved this place. The food was delicious, the service was great, and we sat on the patio so we had a nice view. Gabriel, our server, was great. He is funny and attentive without hovering like most waiters do. He made a mistake with our meal and fixed it immediately. The most impressive thing of all was he owned up to it and even told his manager who apologized profusely. Most people his age would have never said anything and passed the blame on the kitchen. The restaurant was packed and yet the food came out tasting wonderful. The crab and shrimp stuffed fish is fenomenal!! I’ve never been a fan of anything stuffed however I decided to try this and was pleasantly surprised!! My boyfriend had the seafood plate, it was pretty good as well but not as good as my fish. We had the crispy calaramari for our appetizer and he absolutely liked it. I fell in love with their aeoli sauce. Their music is pretty good, the atmosphere was great and we are definitely coming back to visit! I want to sample their oysters and a few other dishes as I had a hard time deciding what to order.

I believe the best spot to get some fish in Waco, good customer service, that lady at the bar is nice, I don’t drink nor eat meat neither the best spot for me. I went there almost every day, the salmon is good, the shrimp tacos with black beans and crab soup delicious and a Diet Coke. The price is good it remember me some place in Budapest
