Visited this new “South Rim” location. Nice set-up with a nice sized outdoor patio along with a roomy indoor area. Service was great. We were tag teamed by a great staff who were friendly and fast! If I would look up for the server who took my order for a refill, a different server was already filling my glass. Always checked in on us. The food: I had the seafood platter with one blackened catfish fillet with 5 or 6 ea. shrimp & oysters, and my buddy got the lobster grilled cheese. All my seafood was cooked perfectly, especially the grilled oysters! Unfortunately, the sides were a bit lackluster. The slaw was supposed to be vinegar based?, but it was just wet, with a very light watered-down flavor. Ok, but not great. And the fries were again OK, but not great. My buddy loved his sandwich, and from what I could see, it was nicely filled with lobster chunks!

Unfortunately, I’m going to have to update my review today and go down to 4 stars. I don’t know what has changed, but the food was not very good tonight. My shrimp tacos were cold, and one of the shrimp had the vein still in it so it had not been cleaned. I am thinking about that. My mom’s fish was just so so. The rice was cold also. Maybe it was just an off night. We will be back and hopefully it will be better. On a bright note, the margaritas and the oyster nachos were delicious as usual.

Food was amazing, and the seafood was fresh. The Smokin Hot Shrimp and Oyster Nachos were amazing. Service was above average and atmosphere was chill. Large portions, and everything had great flavor. Definitely a must visit, and definitely a place to return to.

My kids and I ate here Friday, August 11th. Zay was our waiter and he was awesome! Totally friendly, attentive, and anticipated our needs with excellent customer service. I had the bacon jalapeño mahi mahi tacos – amazing. Both of my boys raved about their choices; one had the fish and chips (he said they’re the best he’s had, and he has had them in Ireland), and my youngest said the burger was the second best he’s had in his life, which is high praise for a picky nine year old! The manager, Tricia, came out to check on us as well, super classy touch. 10/10 recommend, and we will eat here again.

Atmosphere was nice, servers were nice but I ordered a crab cake appetizer. Once I tried it it was SO fishy, I’m not sure if it wasn’t cooked enough or they used a certain oil or it was plain just fishy tasting. I told the server and later someone who seemed like a manager came out and apologized. I just asked for chicken tenders after that since I wasn’t that hungry. Waited 20 minutes for the new order to come out. At that point I asked for a to go container. They did end up not charging for the meal however when I opened the container this is what I saw. 4 SKIMPY tenders. Lol almost thought it was calamari. Most likely will not be going back..

I love this outdoor space, good music, a nice breeze and relaxing atmosphere. Food is good and service is as well. I had the flounder this time but I’ve tried many of their dishes, usually one of the specials, and they are always delicious. This location does seem to have more of a limited menu than the other locations.

UPDATE: We returned, bringing family and our server Nick was amazing! But the bar tender must be brand new we order 4 drinks and they were all terrible. I couldn’t even drink mine. I tried to give my mojito (simple recipe) to my son and he struggled with it and finally left it. Nick asked to get something else which I did and was charged for both. Needless to say, I paid for them but unfortunately we will not be returning. Not to mention we host dinners often at restaurants, the last was 4 months ago for 45 people. So I know how to bring in revenue. But again, Mick was great.
