Went in for lunch about 1 pm on a Tuesday. Several tables were open and we sat at the high top by the front window. Server came and took our water order, we had 4 waters and a sweet tea. Waited about 5 minutes for waters- server dropped them off then told us of the daily specials and then disappeared. No kids menu was offered so I went to the hostess stand to ask for one from our server who was also the hostess. She couldn’t find a menu so just recited the menu- hard to remember- but oh well.

DO NOT miss out on the lobster sauce! I had to stop myself from asking for a cup and a straw. Hush puppies to start were the epitome of perfection and delivered to the table as soon as we arrived. Orange Crush drinks were fantastic. Margarita mix was a bit too sweet. Mary Ann who took care of us was awesome. Food was hot, quick, and absolutely delicious. This is a hidden gem of Down East. Even the salad was fresh rinsed romaine lettuce. Can’t wait to be back from Virginia to enjoy this place! Perfect location to visit from any area community by car and a quick trip from anywhere on Harkers Island via golf cart.

When we walked in there was a short wait and the hostess was very attentive to everyone and got everyone seated quickly. The food was excellent and came out quickly, maybe a 15 minute or less wait. Hush puppies were the best we’ve ever had. The waitress checked in on us a lot and was very kind. Overall, this restaurant was very good and we’d eat there again!

We randomly stopped here after our ferry day! Let me tell you. The food and service were great!! We got the special Softshell crab. I highly recommend it. My mother and I will definitely be doing a day trip again just so we can eat here. Also we’re an hour and half away and we would happily drive down here on a Saturday to have a nice lunch!

Absolutely perfect! At least once during an island vacation, we have to allow ourselves some fried seafood. In this picture, there’s actually a big, juicy oyster missing from this basket that Ms Janice brought because I took a bite without intention of posting, but immediately decided everyone had to know how good this place is!! Hubs had the BBQ sandwich – also delicious – and hot, crunchy hush puppies arrived at the table almost as soon as we did. Oh my goodness – this food is what beach lunch dreams are made of!

Harkers Island has one of the best seafood restaurants on the Crystal Coast, which for some reason seems to be a blight for quality seafood restaurants. I literally room at the cheap motel next door because of this restaurant and because of its proximity to Cape Lookout.

What cute little restaurant! The owner was amazing and gave me two beautiful shells from her collection!! The food was so good and the waitress, Paige was THE BEST! Can’t wait to go back!
