We’ve been happily dining at Fish on Fire since it opened where there’s truly no better sushi in Danville! The service is awesome, staff is always warm and friendly where they treat us like family. It’s become our family tradition to enjoy Mother’s Day and other special occasions at Fish on Fire.

Good food and clean interior. I’ve often gotten the Rainbow roll and never been dissatisfied. The Bento boxes also look like a good option. If you hear loud booms from upstairs don’t worry, there is a gym above them.

We have eaten here several times, ordering specialty rolls, tempura and miso soup (which by the way tastes just fine). It’s some of the best sushi we’ve eaten and we’ve had it in the US and abroad. Green Dragon roll is one that we order every time and then experiment with the second roll such as Red Dragon roll, Samurai, and others close similar ingredients. We’ve never been disappointed. Also, each of the rolls contain approximately 8-10 pieces. Not like the wimpy rolls we had recently in Napa.

this is a neutral review: more of an informal update. Fish on Fire is closed indefinitely due to a vehicular accident: an electric car accidentally drove through the front of the building. no word as of memorial day as to whether they will or will not reopen, but the absence of the liquor license posting suggests at least 2-3 months.
