Trash ! Mediocre at best. I got the pick 2 combo with fried fish & shrimp with my sides being red beans and rice and the mixed veggies. Plus some gumbo. The “fish” isn’t catfish, probably swai which is probably why the only fish they actually clarify is tilapia and there’s an up charge for it. Although the breading on the “fish” was good, once I bit into & saw the texture, I knew it wasn’t catfish. They have the kinda shrimp that’s butterflied then beaten thin, & they overcooked it. Had to add salt to the red beans and rice. AND THE GUMBO is what really upset me!!!! Whyyyy is there more rice than anything else? & it’s not even gumbo !!! It has more of a chicken soup/ broth flavor but with no seasonings. Had to add old bay, pepper, & a little hot sauce. Food was hot and fresh but I’d prefer flavorful warm food that I have to warm up over hot, bland food that I have to season myself! Oh & packaging is trash too !!!! They put the smaller bowl of red beans & rice on top of my med size “gumbo” & when I got home, there was so much liquid at the bottom of the bag. The “gumbo” lid had caved in which made the whole bottom of my bag drenched with rice juice bc they basically give u a bowl of rice w/ chicken broth, minimal shredded chicken pieces, & about 5 baby sized shrimp. Good customer service but I definitely WONT be back !!!! Super upset that I paid cash bc had I paid with card, I %1000 would’ve disputed this purchase ! Waste of money & time. I didn’t even eat HALF of my food smh They’re in it for the money because they definitely do NOT care what the food tastes like !

Fantastic restaurant. As I walked in, I realized what a dive this truly was! Being greeted upon entering, I immediately felt a comforting environment around me. As the server took our order, we took our own seats and were able to observe the background aquatic scenery that had been set up. When I received my food, I was quite shocked and almost confused why the server was walking towards us. The portion was huge!! I had ordered the jambalaya rice and chicken, and it not only covered the whole plate, it kept going up!

I got the jalapeno chicken with white rice & the pick 3 combo with fried fish wings and oysters. The fried food didn’t have any seasoning what so ever. The jalapeno chicken was okay. They put more flavor in the jalapeno chicken then the fried food. The customer service was good.

The staff at this place are always friendly and make me feel welcomed. Plus, the food is delicious!.I travel 10 miles to at least once a week to get their fried family platter for my family. Don’t understand why they don’t open different stores.

My first time trying this place. I ordered a fish special but I asked the guy what type of fish is came with. He looked me dead in my face and said catfish. It was tilapia, which you can’t tell until you break it open. A lot of these types of places do this on a regular. They won’t get a second chance from me.

I had the choose 2 platter . Chicken tender and shrimp. Red beans and rice w/ fries. It was absolutely delicious. Wife had 5piece shrimp w/ vegetables and red beans and rice. Even the vegetables were delicious. Highly recommend

Most disappointing po boy I ever had. The bread was thin and flimsy, I could count all the shrimp on it with one hand, there were onions on it and the lettuce was the type of lettuce you put on a burger. I don’t eat tomatoes but there were only 2 slices to enjoy if I did. I also ordered onion rings as a side and I was presented with 4 onion rings. I really wanted to enjoy but I just couldn’t especially being a chef myself. I hate leaving bad reviews but this was just despicable. The calamari was good though

Clean, blackened, grillled fish with veggies and rice…really tasty! I’ve been enjoying the Salmon and Catfish meals for over two years there..recently the prices seem to go up though (I used to enjoy the pleasant, customer service oriented lady..was very happy to serve the guests). Great Cajun food (including fried chicken wings, shrimps etc if you like those)!
