I was visiting from out of town and had a taste for an oyster plate. Well, I really should have saved that $18 because the oysters were mushy , and were breaded in nothing but cornmeal (no seasoning). My sides were mixed up and didn’t taste very well either . I gave a two star because the service was not bad and the sweet tea was good.

I was at a friend’s house, so she order from this restaurant. This isn’t meant to be harsh on this business, but just to bring some constructive feedback. Ok the red/white paper has to go. It’s bleeding on the hot fish, turning it red. The fries are drenched in grease and half cooked ( some were some what fried and some barely cook. This fish isn’t cheap, so it should be prepared for customer in a more tasteful way. Please except this honest feedback with a open mind, my friend bragged so much about this place, I guess we caught them on a bad day. But seriously the red/white paper is a no no, it’s turning the fish red and that’s not healthy.

Glad we stopped in to eat! Best catfish and shrimp I’ve had in awhile! Little pricey….but hell what’s not theses days! Chocolate cake was really good …..keylime pie was a winner as well. Traveling through Cleveland……but will definitely make it a point to stop back in next time we are in the area!

Thus place has went down hill very badly. The food is not very good, taste like the oil is old, the floors are very sticky & none of the staff knew what was on the menu, Don not recommend eating here at all.

I’ve gotten the 5 piece fish plate with fries and hush puppies twice. It’s been cooked to perfection and it’s alot of food. The staff are super friendly and the cook is fast. The floor was a little tacky and someone had spilled a drink right outside the doorway. Otherwise it has been clean and pleasant.

This place is a total let down ! Especially for how much you spend , I got a shrimp po boy , it had four small shrimps so basically I at a veggie sandwich, the fries were completely under cooked . Plus it just happens to be across the street from a high school , so don’t got at the time they are getting out , you will regret it . I wish I just went to red lobster, would have spent the same amount of money and been happy .

Normally when I go into this store it’s been a toss-up if I’m going to get flaky soft well fried catfish. But recently it has been consistent and consistently good at that. I don’t know who they got cooking for them but they do an amazing job and every time I go in there and drop 50 bucks it’s worth every penny.
