CALL FIRST and see if they have Air Conditioning! It was a Hot Box and people were leaving as they entered the restaurant? We have been going there for years and always the Heating and A/C is simply not adequate for the dining area! Employees did not seem to care that the three tables that were seated were all complaining. You have one employee checking the thermostat and not acknowledging to their customers how uncomfortable they were?

Went for lunch here today. Pretty good fish sandwich (Cod). Two generous filets, perfectly cooked. Slaw seemed different from what I’ve had before, but nevertheless good. Fries were…well fries. Warming: This food is EXTREMELY hot. No setting under a heat lamp, it comes directly to you. Service was practically non existent. The cashier was nice but after that you are on your own. The place is somewhat cramped but you can eat outside(we didn’t because it was 800 degrees outside). Parking is small so good luck there. Would I come back? I would for sure. Good hot food at a very reasonable price.

My family has been coming to the fishery since I was little, and now I’m 24. So it’s been at least a couple decades. Their food is just as good now as it was then. They’re quick with their service. I like that the inside still looks the same as it has forever. It’s a familiar, nostalgic kind of place and the fish can’t be beat. Plus their other offerings are quite good as well. Love that they added the patio seating with fans too—nice addition and it was fun to bring one of my dogs to dinner the other night 🙂

This food was the nastiest food I ever tasted, threw it straight in the trash after I took a bite of each item on the tray. I got the Cod platter which tasted like fish from the frozen food section, the batter was too thick and definitely wasn’t fresh. The fries were BLAH! The green beans were as if they poured them straight out the can in a pot to boil. The hush puppies were the size of fried okra definitely took these out of the frozen food section, out of a box and microwave. The atmosphere wasn’t welcoming either. A bad experience overall. Gross Gross Gross! I definitely wouldn’t recommend this place to a dog.

Food is EXCELLENT as always. Didn’t have to wait long at all even though I had a pretty big order. Best chicken strips I’ve had in a long time…they actually season the breading. Clean friendly atmosphere as always. The woman who gave me my order walked out and helped me get my condiments and utensils organized. She went above and beyond.

The fish, rice, and fries were good. Green beans terrible. The lady that took our order was not friendly at all. Not until a local Caucasian came in. She rushed me through my order and quickly directed me away from the window to the “closed” serving window for a refill of my soda. I would rather have great customer service than anything. I believe the guy called her “Sue” maybe. Because my grandson is only 3, I was able to keep him shunned from the negativity while he enjoyed his fish. I won’t be back because they won’t see me act stupid like them!!

Just thinking about their fish sandwich makes my mouth water!!Excellent locally owned seafood, serving fresh seafood! We had a catered order of large shrimp, thick lightly breaded whitefish, onion rings, green beans and creamy cole slaw and it was the BEST we have tried! Run don walk the next time you are craving a hot fried fish sandwich!
