This place was located inside of a food marketplace/ food court. I tried their salmon croquettes and it was ok but didn’t care for it. I also tried their potato salad and wasn’t a fan of it as well because it tasted bland and had a weird consistency. My husband had their catfish sandwich and he said it was really good.

Had The Real MVP, slaw, fries, and a drink. Only disappointment was the peach tea, and that’s because they don’t have ice. Fish sammich was excellent. Loved the citrus juice twist on slaw.

Place is inside the mt vernon market. Staff is friendly amd they have a ton of options. We ordered the mvp fish sandwich and another apperizer. The food is good and it shows that they prep the food properly. The breading is not too overwhelming yet still crunchy and the fish is nice and soft. However i wish they use more sauces in their sandwiches. You can get more sauce by asking them but if you order a take out then you’re stuck. The food will taste a little bland if you put enough sauce.

My wife found this bright spot, after church, and I was pleasantly surprised. 520 Park Ave has an eatery attached to an apartment building. The atmosphere was pleasant with a live band and good food. I had the Crispy Catfish Sandwich with hand cut fries and a lemonade and my wife had the Salmon Sandwich with Cole slaw with Peach Lemonade. My son wasn’t hungry, so he had an order of fries and a soda. The food was excellent!! I didn’t take pictures this time. I’m sorry. Check Fishnet out if you are in the downtown area.

This was our second time eating lunch here and it was amazing. We tried the non-Mayo coleslaw and YESSS it’s so good! We even met the owner and she was such a joy; explaining that she made the effort to eat cleaner to better her health and now she’s sharing it with US. Bless her and SUPPORT THIS PLACE. YUM!

Fishnet is amazing. I’ll start by saying the Salmon Bowl is my go to. The rice is amazing, the salad is amazing, the salmon is amazing and the sauce (I recommend old bay mayo) is amazing! Literally a one of a kind experience, but it doesn’t stop there. Fishnet is nestled in the very popular Mt Vernon Marketplace, which provides an amazing amount of seating as well as many live events. The Fishnet Team is amazing. Always very friendly and makes me feel welcome. I am privileged enough to know the owner who is a really great person that has a passion for helping the community by providing amazing food and employment opportunities to all. In summary, I highly recommend that you checkout Fishnet if you have not. The food, atmosphere and the people keep me coming back time and time again. Have a great day and thanks for taking the time to read my review.

I ordered the salmon sandwich and loved it. It came with a lemon slice and old bay mayo, which added a nice bit of flavor to an already well-seasoned fillet. The veggies on the sandwich were noticeably very fresh and crisp. The mac n cheese was good but nothing special.
