Went here for an early dinner and a couple of beers a few days back. Prices are about average. Beers selection was pretty good, and I think they’re all from Five Churches Brewing. We were seated facing the entrance corridor and our view was of a wooden barrier which I thought was odd. Service was pretty good. The pretzel was better than the entrees

Great service but the food was insanely overpriced for the portions. We ordered fried calamari and half of it was fried cherry peppers and it was overall a small plate as it is. My daughter ordered linguine with meatballs as a kids meal and we received the smallest bowl of penne with 3 mini meatballs. We ordered 3 pizzas as well, they were just ok. $100 bill and we all left still hungry, but maybe we just ordered the wrong food! Beer was good!

Good beer, very friendly staff, and tasty pizza. They have a wrap around bar with half of it being partially outside. Additionally, there is plenty of seating and tables outside with a nice view of the Sound. I will say, the inside is extremely bland. They need to give it some decor and character as once the summer ends, the only place to eat will be inside!

Customer service is top notch! Overall great energy and vibes. The food was the best thing about the place, especially the cannolis! So excited to have such an amazing restaurant close-by now!

Stopped by after a day at the beach, hopping for some “not” fast food. Not only the burger was worse than McDonald’s but the service was horrible. My husband ordered a beer which was warm, asked for another but didn’t get it until asking after 10 min. The bartender rarely made eye contact with us to ask how we were doing or if we needed anything else. The view is great, too bad we won’t ever step foot in there again.

Wonderful place. I recommend the Philly cheese steak and the truffle fries. The Nashville hot sandwich was also pretty tasty. Not insanely expensive either! My daughter enjoyed the vegan truffle Mac & cheese.

Five Churches in New Britain is one of my favorite breweries, happy to enjoy a nice beer with this view. Nice job transforming the old dark dated Smarties into a bright clean place and taking advantage of the view! Looking forward to trying food on future visits.

I had a lobster roll that was fantastic, but few things need some work. Fries seemed undercooked and sitting for a while. Clam strips were over cooked, and calamari was over cooked and the portion was pathetic for the price. I’ll try again but hope that improves. Great place to sit outside.

Parking was limited and a little tricky. The beers and food were good. I did have an IPA (and one other), but I do long for the days when those no longer dominate the menu at every brew pub. Our server was okay; friendly, but she sorta disappeared for a while, which we noticed because we hadn’t been set up with silverware. The outdoor setting was nice; it’s not the more quaint blocks of the Niantic downtown (it’s at the Morton Hotel), but it was, overall, a very nice evening.
