Five Guys is unfortunately overrated as all get out. The food is good but the prices have hiked quite a bit. You pay restaurant/diner prices for fast food, remember that. The fries are also just not up to bar for a burgers & fry joint.

Got there at 920 PM and they still made sure we had excellent food. It’s not easy to keep quality when its near the end of a shift, so compliments to the staff. Place was clean and staff were cleaning as I was waiting for my grub. Counter staff was tired, but remained friendly!!

I will be very hard pressed to EVER ORDER from here EVER again. We ordered three burgers. We got one wrapped in rotten lettuce. See picture. And two veggie sandwiches. Called and they said they would remake the two burgers over. Get there, they made the whole order over again. Open the bag with the new order, fries were thrown in bag on top of burgers. Greasy as all get out. Definitely not drained before cupping them. Then the two replacement burgers had all the wrong condiments and rolls were stale. Burgers were hard as a brick.

Cup for milkshake was dirty. Brown stuff on side and wat looked like caramel in the cracks of cup. Fries was salted but tasted like it needed salt.

You know, I haven’t been to a Five Guys for several years at the minimum. It only took about two minutes to remember why. Let me just point to the “Little Bacon Cheeseburger” I ordered. This thing was $9.30. It seemed like nothing more than a McDonalds Quarter Pounder with Cheese that had some bacon thrown in. Did it taste good? Yeah, it did, but not anywhere near $9.30 good. I’m tired of all these companies jumping on the inflation bandwagon. Five Guys isn’t the only one. But $9.30? I won’t be back for at least another several years. The real kicker? After getting you with their ridiculous prices, at a restaurant where you walk up to the counter to order, pick up your order when they call your number, and clean off your own table – they prompt you for a tip. Incredible.
