We love Flavio’s for happy hour. The cocktails are delicious and their pizza is awesome. The caprese salad was fresh but could be a little bigger. I didn’t care for the mussels due to the sauce being brown and not the usual lemon butter sauce. Overall great place.

OMG! Happy hour Super Tuscan wine is only $6 / glass. Great happy hour options but the entrees we had were fantastic as well. Lasagna and Chicken Pesto Fettuccine. Highly recommend

I just had a fabulous dinner with two other couples, so six of us tonight at Flavio’s. Service was excellent, the food was delicious, the homemade lemon cello at the end complementary was fabulous. Our server, Michael was attentive, convivial, and efficient. Will definitely love to come back to this restaurant.

The most “traditional” high end Italian food I’ve found in Sarasota in the last 10 years. New manager is a class act. Ambiance is tip too, location is unbeatable, service is stellar, food I tried was amazing and prepared almost too quickly to believe. Prices are high but as to be expected and average for the area.

We had a wonderful dinner experience last evening at Flavio’s on Main St. My main course was a special: lobster tail, shrimp, orzo with basil and spinach. It was superb and paired amazingly well with a 2018 Lynch Bages Blanc that we brought for a reasonable corkage fee. My wife’s Branzino was also excellent and we also enjoyed a 2010 Altesino Brunello di Montalcino that we brought. Service was friendly, attentive and completely professional. The tables were spaced sufficiently apart that we were completely comfortable.

What an amazing restaurant! Food was exquisite and so flavourful. The octopus appetizer has just the perfect texture and and grill flavor. I had tried to imitate and failed miserably. Octopus is a difficult animal to cook and Flavios has excelled.

I’ve been to many many Italian restaraunts, since of course I’m Italian, and this is one of the best places I’ve ever had the pleasure of eating at.
