I doordashed out of curiosity and to feed my craving of Indian food. I ordered Lamb Curry, Vegetable Samosa, extra Basmati Rice, and Gulab Jamun for dessert. I had always had a love of curry and the lamb didn’t disappoint so tasty with the perfect amount of spice and soft fresh meat I was blown away. Next for the Vegetable Samosa I had never tried anything outside of curry and basmati rice before, so I was curious to try new food products and let me state if a glazed doughnut and egg roll had a baby that would make a Vegetable Samosa mildly sweet and nutritious. The rice was freshly done no complaints there. Last but not least the desert Gulab Jamun it was devilishly sweet and satisfying like a glourious conclusion to a wonderful, satisfying meal. I highly recommend if you love Indian food or are curious to try it and are in the Portland area. 10/10

First I wanted to mention that this place is located inside a food hall. It’s not a sit down restaurant. I only say that because I like to know these things. Anyway. The food. If you like a flavor explosion in your mouth. You found the place! At this point we have tried half the menu and I will continue going. We have not been disappointed! At this point we are just going down the list because it’s just that good! Real, authentic, delicious, fresh. It is absolutely amazing and honestly if I was on death row. This would place would hold my last meal. But you be the judge. 😉

If you like to watch your food being prepped, you have a full view of the crew hustling to get your selections ready. Plenty of veggie items on the menu. They’re set up for carry out, but you can also plate up your entrees while seated in the food court, and if you like, hang onto the containers for future leftovers.

They have some of the best Indian food I have ever tasted, hands down. If you’re new to trying Indian food, I highly would recommend their Chicken Saag or Chicken Tikka Masala. When ordering online through a delivery service, it is always hot and fresh! We went in for the first time to pick it up and they gave us pieces of Chocolate/Caramel candy.

The food is cooked with attention to detail. Each dish has lots of interesting spices and ingredients. The samosa bowl is wonderful, but we liked everything. The food court it is located in is a really nice place to hang out and eat.

Food is good. Everything is fine and dandy but for $15.99 I would expect to have more than 5 tiny little chicken nuggets in my meal. I got the butter chicken yesterday and the Chicken tikka masla today and it was barley any chicken. There’s more sauce than there is chicken. Flavor is on point though.

I love the butter chicken and samosas from this place, sadly they did forget about me for about 20-30 mins before they came to ask me what i ordered and waited another 20 minutes for my food. But it’s okay, they could’ve been busy just kinda wish they remembered :,)

Ordering off the vegetarian menu, highly highly highly recommend the Chana Masala & Garlic Naan. Perfect situation with the alluring aroma, warm spices, building heat, bright herbs, yeah all of it. Looking forward to trying more off the vegetarian menu. Lots of options! (This review is for the Rockwood Market location, go check it out!!)

This is one of our favorite places to grab dinner from, truly, but we have found a bit of inconsistency in some of the things that we order regularly. The kheer, is usually so delicious and vibrant and full of flavor, but tonight, it tasted like a simple, VERY mildly flavored rice pudding. Like something we could buy at a store. Still enjoyable, but we got it because we wanted that AMAZING cardamon flavor it normally has and it just didn’t. Then there’s the raita, which is personally my ABSOLUTE #1 FAVORITE thing on the menu. I quite literally couldn’t eat it because for some reason it was spicy, and I mean, make my forehead sweat, spicy. I’ve never had that with raita, at any restaurant, ever. It even had a bit of a like an orange-ish color with orange specs to it (photo included) where it’s usually just white with the green of the cilantro in it. So I was extremely disappointed that I spent money for something that just had to get tossed because I’m the only one that would have eaten it and with whatever spice is in it, it was inedible for me. Our Paneer Tikka Masala was SOOOOOO good, as always, and we also tried something we hadn’t before, Saag Paneer, which we both thought was FANTASTIC. We do love this, and will continue to patronize them, but hopefully we won’t find these inconsistencies again because if we do, for sure those will be items we won’t order.
