My husband and I stopped at Flip and Shakes on a Sunday. The place was virtually empty but it looks like do a considerable amount of take out. The milkshake was delicious. The hot dogs were pretty good. We had the Chicago hot dogs with bright green relish and banana peppers. The fries were BRUTALLY salty.

Wish I could leave an actual review but they couldn’t serve us. Website says closes at 9, early but ok. Went at 750 and was told grill turns off at 8. Ok, let’s just get shakes. Nope, hot chocolate syrup machine turned off for night too so couldn’t make shakes kids wanted. Came here because of the good reviews for shakes but need to call ahead or go mid day if you expect to get them.

The food was ok, I had gotten the grilled cheese, but it tasted like grease or lard which over powered the cheese and sourdough bread. Fries were fresh and hot but over salted.

PAPER STRAWS!!! Kudos! Great service with a smile. Great variety of burgers, dogs, grilled cheese melts and shakes. Burgers are so juicy. The bread they use for the grilled cheese is thick. Shakes are thick. Oh and the salads are good too! Don’t miss this place.

Food was good. Shakes even better. But the day we went the inside felt and smelled greasy and the restrooms were gross and badly in need of cleaning. Hopefully just caught them on a bad day because my experience there a yr. ago was great.

Flip City Shakes is straight up the best burgers in the area. After ordering, it may take some time for them to cook up the burger and fries. All food is cooked upon ordering and is totally worth the wait. Flip City Shakes offers no nonsense burgers and fries that is reminiscent of happier days before fast food chains dominated the suburban landscape.
