Alright folks, I don’t eat meat, so can’t tell you about it. But da veggies is RIGHT. I had crowded (sp?), zipper and cream peas, collards, yams and whitr rice. 1st time having all 3 of those beans. Excellent and healthy!!! Everything is just the way I like it. Seasoned real nice. Yams were mushy – just the way I like ’em. Every dish was smooth. Price..$12.

A friend recommended this place today and I’m so glad they did. The baked chicken was insanely good, fall off the bone & had the best flavor. The turnips and collards were great too! I’ll definitely be a repeat customer.

The cornbread was so dry it crumbled picking it up. The beans and mac and cheese were not eatable. The mac and cheese tasted sour. The cake was dry. This is the second time we ate here. The first time was not good either but I thought it was because we got there just before they closed. We won’t go back.

I haven’t been here in a little while, but I can tell you that these are good people. During the pandemic our grandmother passed away. We had family coming over to our house that night and needed food to feed everyone. I called Flossies and they were more than happy to help. They cooked a full spread of food and even stayed after hours just to ensure that we had food for our family. They helped us carry everything out to the truck and provided us with boxes to ensure that the food would not spill on the way. They even told us where they went to church and told us to reach out if we needed anything else. You don’t meet good people like this everyday.

Delicious home cooked food with very accommodating staff. All food was cooked very well and nice and hot. Had fried chicken collards and Mac n cheese. Boyfriend had hamburger steak mashed potatoes and turnip greens. Atmosphere was nothing special but they apparently do a lot of take out service more nowadays.

Took a group of college students on a tour of the Albany Civil Rights Museum and in keeping with theme, they wanted soul food, so I suggested this place. We were not pleased. Staff was great, however the food was not. Cold, looked and tasted as if it had been sitting since yesterday. I had to apologize to the students for that no so good experience of Soul Food in Albany and had to explain that Albany does have great Soul food, but this place wasn’t it. Sorry

Great food and great customer service. My wife and I got the food and service that we were surprised how good the truly home cooking. We had the fried pork chops fresh cabbage , homemade fried corn bread. It was topped off with a glass of tea. My wife and I will be back always. We now have found a true southern charm of a restaurant. so to call this a restaurant will embarrass yourself. Because it’s a future hall of fame in Fitzgerald . Ps we applaude the chef
