We are here on a Sunday night and the place is busy but not too busy. We started out with their fried chicken wings that were extra crispy, just the way I like them. I would also recommend the octopus (very tender and flavorful) and the ribs. I think the best dish were the mushrooms, fried with a delicious sauce. We will be eating here again.

The shaking beef was absolutely amazing. Perfectly tender with rich flavours. The lemongrass Chinese fried rice was decadent: coconut milk and Chinese sausage with shrimp lending such complexity to fried rice. Cannot wait to return!

10/10 experience here. The food was amazingly good so well prepared and flavorful without being salty. All my food came out HOT!! The entire staff from the moment we entered to leaving were super attentive, smiling, and kind! Will 100% be back. Everything was delicious. Highly recommend the papaya salad and octopus!!

FOV has been one of my favorite DET restaurants for a while. Have some flexibility on the menu to go safe with the wings shaky beef and fried rice or explore some flavors outside of the comfort zone. It’s a higher end restaurant and certainly not what you’d expect to get from a Vietnamese street food standpoint. Not cheap but didn’t feel overpriced either. Cool atmosphere and a very good drink menu as well.

Some of the best food in Metro Detroit area, you don’t want to miss out! Various concoctions of Vietnamese inspired cuisine with a bit of a twist. Chef George is truly a fantastic owner and was able to treat my purely vegetarian family to a delightful and delicious meal. Will be coming back in the near future!
