I recently visited Flybird (Tiburon) and it was absolutely wonderful. In fairness, I’m a complete Flybird stan. I was first introduced to Flybird by visiting their San Francisco location. I truly believe it was the best fried chicken sandwich in the city. The special sauce, quality of the chicken, and potential add-ons (blue cheese, avocado, etc). Unfortunately, due to the pandemic, the SF location closed and the only available spot is in Tiburon. Now, it’s about a 30 minute drive from their initial location but it is worth it. The new location in Tiburon is larger, the menu has been expanded, and so has the bar. The new location has all of the classics but now offers rotisserie chicken, plant based options, a kids menu, an expanded bar, additional seating (indoor and outdoor), and new sauces to try. I can not stress enough that this is the best fried chicken place in the Bay Area.

The vegetarian option for the protein on the sandwiches and salads is delicious. The salads are those good salads packed with flavorful ingredients with a dressing that brings it all together without over powering the salad. The sandwiches are large but in that good way. All ingredients were fresh and real. The fries were cooked and seasoned to perfection. The sauce that comes with them is a tad above mild but not all the way to medium and it’s perfect w the fries. Happy there is a good sandwich and salad spot in Tiburon now that offers yummy fresh options.

Having tried many chicken sandwiches in the Bay Area, this is one of the best. Well-cooked fried chicken, great seasoning, and overall unique offerings that separate it from other places. I would happily make the trek to SF when that was the only option and I’m psyched they are in Marin. And the fries are pretty damn good.

Best chicken sandwich I’ve had in the Bay Area. Wasn’t expecting much but had a gift card and gave it a shot. Will be back to use my own hard-earned money on this one. They make things I can’t make at home and much better than I could make even if I tried. Clean, good service, great food.

We stopped by the Tiburon Flybird because we had enjoyed the Flybird off of Union Square. It’s easy to get to off of Hwy 101. We shared a Classic Sandwich, Fries, and a Hollywood Salad. Our friend had a Classic with sweet potato instead of chicken. We had sparkling water and soda to drink. I noticed a few people ordered draft beers to drink while they waited for their to go orders. The sandwich was wonderful, the chicken was moist and tender with a crispy coating and the pickles were great. I really liked the salad. After half a sandwich, the salad was too big to finish, so we took it home. The sauce with the fries was a big hit with all of us. We will definitely return.

In a small shopping center, the restaurant is more setup for to go though they have a few places to sit and a small beer and wine bar and a tv for sports games. Their chicken sandwiches are very good and filling. Their fries with porcini are also good. They use their own homemade hot sauce which adds a nice kick. Great spot for a chicken sandwich.

Very good! The fries were solid – nothing crazy but still enjoyable. I loved my Mexico City sand which was great. Loved everything in it. I’ve had better chicken before but I would definitely order from here again.
