Fog Harbour is a family owned seafood restaurant on the pier of San Francisco. It’s a legendary restaurant reminiscent of years gone by. There are more modern high end seafood restaurants in San Francisco but this establishment remains a favorite of many.

I had a really good time at this place the atmosphere is perfect for relaxation. There is a great view of the Golden Gate Bridge. I was about to give them 5 stars and recommend the tasty halibut, but I nearly choked on 4 fish bones. The grilled salmon and shrimp was ok. The fish n chips is definitely the best in San Francisco.

It was fast moving even though there was a crowd. The entrees were excellent and so was the clam chowder! Fantastic view over the fog covered harbor hence the name of the restaurant. Any of the fish dishes are recommended.

After researching places we decided on this one & were not disappointed. Ordered cocktails from a nice variety menu; we got them quickly even though the restaurant was extremely crowded. Husband had the clam chowder in the bread bowl &he said it was one of the best he’s ever had. Then had the oysters Rockefeller, so good! Plating was eye candy. Then the entrees…I had the Pacific sole which was done so perfectly it practically melted in my mouth. Husband had shrimp which were also done to perfection. We split dessert of fresh fruit. Definitely recommend this restaurant when you’re in San Francisco & going to Fisherman’s Wharf, Wharf 39.
