Really solid sandwiches. Stopped by after a full day visiting wineries on Old Mission Peninsula. If we could redo it, I’d pick these up first and then head out (food is limited out there). Everyone in the family loved their sandwiches. The bread is something you’ll remember. The kids working the counter were so kind and the woman at the register talked to my daughter for a long time about art. Makes you wish the whole world treated each other as nicely as the people here. Also, we didn’t order the sandwich in the picture, but we haven’t stopped laughing about its name all night. Will stop again our next visit for sure.

I highly recommend Folgarelli’s for your next catering event. Working with Scott and his team was an absolute pleasure. They were friendly, organized, and exceeded my expectations. Scott was accommodating to my budget and dietary requirements for my small wedding and checked in regularly to ensure everything was perfect. Communication was excellent and the food was even better. Good service, great sandwiches! I had The Big Guido and my wife had the Ruben both were huge and excellent. Good meats, good bread. Deli has nice section of old world hams, a whole bunch of old world style Salami and a good selection of cheeses.

While camping in Traverse City my father in law just said , go to Folgarelli’s and order the number 3 , I knew for sure that I wouldn’t be disappointed coming from him so I went right away and ordered up The Godfather and up until that moment the best sandwich I’ve ever had was in Siracusa Sicily but this Deli was right on par and no doubt the best I’ve ever had in Michigan period! I went back three more times during the week and tried the Sicilian which I may have liked even better than The Godfather and the Fat Tony which was equally amazing. The staff was super cool and the store had great products. I already cannot wait to get back here!

Perhaps the best lunch in Traverse City awaits inside the unassuming facade of this charming specialty market. You can’t go wrong picking from their extensive list of gourmet sandwiches, but worth a mention is their deservedly award-winning “Godfather” sandwich, which is truly transcendent. The “Brooklyn” is also insanely good. If they’re busy, it might be a 15-20 minute wait for a sandwich. No matter: buy a cherry limeade or house-made cannoli and sip or snack while perusing Folgarelli’s excellent selection of wines, vermouth and cocktail mixers, and specialty foods. And then, if it’s a pleasant day, take your sammie to the back patio, often overlooked by patrons. Have lunch under one of their patio umbrellas, in the shade of a glorious old tree. Perfection.

Amazing place with a huge selection of meats, cheeses and so much more. This place is a must visit if you are in the area. We bought a sandwich and it was really good. This is my favorite sandwich in Northern Michigan. The sandwiches are delicious and there are s lot of specialty foods to select from. The wine selection on the back is also top notch. You can take your sandwich to go or have a seat. The cheese selection is fantastic.
