Follow Yer’ Nose BBQ Menu – Emigrant, MT

Type : Barbecue restaurant

Location : Emigrant, MT

We are a Southern Smoke Shack in Emigrant, MT with a Smokewagon Food Trailer Outpost in Gardiner, MT. We smoke brisket, pork, ribs, chicken, turkey, sausage and many other items including veggie options and serve it with down home cooked sides. We offer catering of any size, served from one of 2 classic trucks. A 1955 2 ton 6100 Chevy or a 1965 Chevy Suburban Carryall. We have been voted best BBQ in Montana by many different outlets including Food and Wine two times. Follow Yer’ Nose BBQ is a seasonal operation as most of the seating/line is outside and winter in Montana isn’t the best place for an outdoor smoke shack. Open April through Oct. Indoor seating in our bakery is limited when its too cold for outdoor seating (April & OCT)

Visiting the area from UK, via Bozeman. Excellent, friendly server at the till. Great views! Good sandwiches, small but filling. Beef and Pork. Purchased a great, quality t-shirt too. Lots merchandise, fresh bread, cakes etc. Indoor and outdoor seating. Dog allowed outside and they kindly gave the dog meat scraps. Cool signs and memorabilia over the outside seating area. Very enjoyable, authentic, friendly experience.

Best BBQ I’ve had! Every dish is delicious, the ribs, brisket, slaw, collard greens, everything! They had some live music the time we went. It was so delicious that we came back the next day! If you like BBQ, it’s a must try!

Hands down some of the best bbq we have had!! We ate here twice in one week, and loved it so much! The brisket, turkey and sausage were our favorites, and the sides were so so good too, we had to try them all! It’s a fun atmosphere and good for kids and dogs! On our second visit we met the owners and they were some of the most down to earth and sweetest people ever! Love supporting local businesses especially when the food, quality and service is top notch! This place will not disappoint and we can’t wait to come back when in the area!

I have been stopping at Follow Yer Nose for the last 3 years when in Emigrant and it has exceeded expectations every time. Easily the best bbq in Montana. We stopped last night and ordered the pulled pork, ribs, turkey and ‘funguy’ portobello sandwich. All AMAZING. Who knew they would make such a tasty vegetarian sandwich?! Absolutely beautiful outdoor setting, and kind staff. HIGHLY recommend.

Real bbq outside of the south is rare so this place was an awesome surprise for me visiting from Georgia. The sauces are excellent, the atmosphere perfect, and my service was great. A must see restaurant if you’re in the area. Warning to southerners though: no sweet tea! Hahaha <3

People were great, fast service. Food was fantastic brisket for us with local beers in draft. Very cool set up, but the food is better than the ambiance.

In my opionion, this is the best BBQ joint in Southwest Montana! The BBQ’d meats are always top notch (ribs fall of the bone and the brisket is always juicy & tender with a nice crust)….their sides are just as good (burnt ends beans are some of the best i’ve ever had and the collard greens are not to be missed). One of my favorite stops in Paradise Valley.
