Hands down, they have one of the best chilaquiles de mole! They have such great flavor accompanied with the cheese, sour cream, scrambled eggs and beans. The Fonda especial dish is really good too. It comes with chilaquiles (not too spicy which is great), chicharrón verde, scrambled eggs, beans, and asada. Their iced cafe de olla and horchata are really good, except next time I would like less whipped cream on it. I will definitely be returning to try their other breakfast items and lunch options.

This is the best Mexican restaurant I have been to in such a long time that I cannot recall the last one. What drew me in was the owners absolutely beautiful demeanor. Her name is Ruth by the way. Every single thing that we tried on the menu was more than delicious and fresh. The service and the food are impeccable. I highly recommend this place.

The atmosphere was nice they had music clean tables and looked nice ,but food we had the nopal special the nopal was at the bottom and once my son started eating it he said it was super sour and gooey and I had a piece the nopal was rotten, then I had the menudo and my hubby the pazole both were super super salty , service was very bad. The server was a guy he never came back to ask If we needed anything we had to ask the other lady if we could have refills of our drinks , literally two other tables and they were eating and there before we got there .

This is our go to place for breakfast after church on Sunday’s. It has Authentic Homemade Mexican food. This is literally the kind of food I was raised with & am happy to say my 4yr old son loves. From the chips & salsa to the Cafe de Olla. Their Menudo is simply delicious! Other places use only one maybe even two types of meat for their Menudo but the menudo they make here, hmmm! I can assure you they use all three types of cow meat & feet (aka Pata), which is they way my mom made hers. And if u are a fan of hominy, they will add it to your Menudo. But why would you? If you have a big appetite you will not go wrong ordering La Fonda breakfast it’s has a bit of everything. You can choose to share it or simply just yum it up! Another dish you might want to try is their Chilaquiles… they are nice & spicy and you can even order them with meat! Btw, the birria here is tasty & you can order it in tacos, quesadillas, burritos, even omelets. Yup! You heard right omelets. This place right here is the must try spot for all your Authentic Homemade Mexican food cravings. I guarantee you will, Love It!

Friendly customer service and homemade style food. As soon as you walk in you are greeted with the cafe de olla smell. They have a lunch special $7.90 , the choices vary on the day. I chose the “ tacos de guisado”, the serving was enough to fill me up. Only missing was the Pico de Gallo , oh an the chips were a bit stale. Probably from the day before. I will return to try their other dishes tho.

This is a piece of Mexico. Amazing authentic food. You get the mexico vibes in here. The menudo was amazing. Cafe de la hoya and the ice coffee was great as well. No long wait for a Sunday morning and customers service was awesome. Highly recommend this place.
