Cheap dirty atmosphere, called the first time, started to order and got hung up on. Second time it rang for a good solid 45seconds before someone answered. She was in a rush to take my order and then hung up after I was done. All the food was in separate containers so that’s a bonus. Nothing hard got soggy. I want to know the food vender they buy their frozen stuff from so I can just microwave this at home.

Can’t say enough good about this place!!!! The service is always fast, the food is large in portion, and the owners and waitresses are beyond friendly. Heads up – if you want noodles with meat, cabbage, and onions… Get the LO MIEN. Chow mien is celery and onions over hard crunchy noodles. It’s a common mistake. For the people that are complaining about prices and getting charged extra for substitutions – The owners do everything they can to keep prices low!! They can’t help that the prices of eggs and chicken are so high right now. (And yes, charging extra to take something out of a dish makes complete sense when they make things in bigger batchces and have to make yours separate). I recommend the cashew chicken, Mongolian beef, any type of lo mien, or the mandarin chicken!! Always look forward to my visits to Fongs.

Fongs used to be a great place to eat. The last time I went, all of the prices had been raised close to a dollar. They weren’t even sneaky about it. All of the menus have the prices crossed out and replaced with new ones written in sharpie. It’s almost like a slap in the face. We used to be able to eat there for under $15 and feel like it was a great value. Now it’s usually closer to $20 or more. Also, be aware that if you want your sauce on the side (I hate soggy leftovers), they charge extra for that. This used to be a place that we came to regularly. Now, not so much…

I ordered take out and I wanted NO vegetables on my of my orders. They charged me $1.00 for again, NO vegetables.. I’m wondering why. Food is good but the pork fried rice was really oily.

I don’t know what the negative reviews are about…we loved this place! The food was delicious and was a hefty portion—we had plenty of leftovers! I loved the ambience of authentic music and kind people. We would definitely come again on our way to Yellowstone!

So where do I even start? It took 20 minutes to even get our drinks. I got the shrimp soup with gravy, and the noodles were UNCOOKED. The sesame chicken was very VERY dry, and tasted like oil and dust. I ordered French fries and they were dryer than the sahra desert. Even the drinks managed to taste bad. I DO NOT recommend.

I’ve been here many times, as my kids request it, but my husband and I give each other a look when they do because our experience is that a lot of their dishes look and taste the same. On our first visit we ordered orange chicken and sweet and sour pork. The meat came out on identical plates and we couldn’t tell the difference. The sauces were the same texture and color. I tried them and couldn’t tell the difference so I asked about it and the waitress looked at me like I was crazy, insisting they were different (but they looked & tasted EXACTLY the same). On my latest visit I discovered they’ve hiked up the prices for mediocre food (maybe because they’re very generous with the portions?) and the pork was an extra cost. Plus they gave us less of it than an identical chicken dish and it was so old and dry I could barely choke it down. I really don’t think I can let my kids pick this place again, it’s not that great. Sorry Fong’s!
