Some locals recommend this spot to a group of coworkers and I. They visited first and wanted to return they liked it so much.

I had a very pleasant experience dining here. The waitresses were friendly and very pretty. The food was excellent. Next time I am in the area I will definitely eat here again.

We are headed to Quincy IL and stopped here for dinner and we weren’t disappointed. He had the catfish party boy and I had the gumbo. The catfish was cooked just right and the sandwich was dressed but not overdressed. The bread was crispy but soft inside

Wow, just wow. I love Cajun food and this place did not disappoint. My crawfish po boy had the perfect amount of spice and the gumbo was delicious. The only issue I have is that I don’t live around here and I now have to manufacture reasons to get to Fulton.

We’d been wanting to stop every time we pass their sign on the highway, and finally did tonight. The food is great! And so are the desserts. We’ll be back, and want to tryout more of the menu.

Visiting Fulton for work, stopped in on a gushing recommendation — it deserves all the praise it gets! The shrimp PoBoy with roumelade was flavorful and fresh, and even the bread was good. The fries are the thin ones that are perfectly crispy in the outside and soft on the inside, with actual seasoning instead of just salt. The beignets (pictured) were fluffy, airy, and piping hot, and the cold cream on the side was the perfect pairing.

We like everything about Fontenot’s, and we’ve been here several times. My only criticism about this place, is that they use the “Square” method of credit card payment, that requires a selection of a tip based on the taxable amount. I’m a generous tipper, but I’m not going to tip on the amount of the total, that includes the tax.

I have lived down in the deep south, and have tasted plenty of “Louisiana style” food places all over the U.S. , but these folks do it right.

Stopped in while out riding today. It was a sleepy afternoon and I ordered the Roast Beef Po Boy. Not up to New Orleans standards as it was a little light on the beef, but still tasted good. I had a side of Jambalaya and it was excellent
