Great Japanese Ramen place, even price keep increase current inflation! But recipes never deduct inside the noodle soup base what it suppose to be…dine in is better choice than to go because the flavor might change and noodle loose it’s texture for to go order. But make sure you arrive before 1pm for they cutting time for order to go and dine in, Total cost for 4 persons $66 plus $12 (18%) tips but worthy for try Japanese food fans if you don’t want to travel far location to Orange County or Anaheim.

Foo Foo Tei is the OG of authentic Japanese restaurant and been there for 15+ years. With their delectable ramen and an array of comforting dishes, this place truly embodies the essence of Japanese cuisine. The staff members consistently greet you with warmth, providing excellent recommendations that add to the experience. The portion sizes are impressively generous, easily shareable among more than one person. The food was both delicious and flavorful.

The hidden gems of City of Industry ! This restaurant is located in a mix environment of residential and commercial buildings. Their ramens come in large bowl, which can fill you up nicely. Takana Bacon Fried rice also comes in a large portion, and it is very tasty.

Authentic and unique Japanese food. #4 Crab omlette rice has a special sauce. Pork katsu rice is delicious, layers are perfectly fried. Nanchatte tonkotsu ramen is chicken based instead of pork, so good and the pork piece is very fatty and soft. Chicken wings are juicy. Portions are all worth the price. I would come back again for sure.

Update 6/11/23: Arrived around 545 (they open at 530) and had about an hour wait to be seated since we missed the first dinner rotation. Overall the noodles are still as good as expected and the side dishes are the show stoppers. They’re priced pretty close to an actual bowl of noodles, so take care in ordering a lot of them, they’re pretty good.

Mostly ramen dishes, although they do have side dishes, like an Izayaya, like Japanese tapas, you might find them delicious and unique. Service is fast, and they hustle, and greet you cheerfully. They open at 5:30 on Saturday evenings and there was already a line at the door when they opened, as a testament to their popularity.

Yes, cheap and no nonsense Japanese place with super nice waitresses. Everything we had was delicious, curry over rice, tonkatsu nanchatte ramen, fried tofu, and takoyaki. Reasonably priced. The only drawback was the chopsticks. I don’t know who their supplier is but these were some of the poorest quality single use chopsticks I have ever come by. Several pairs all but turned into splintered dust when we tried to use them. Doesn’t matter tho, had a great time!

This restaurant is in the middle of a resident/office buildings. There’s no other restaurants nearby. It’s pretty small. About 10-15 tables only. I ordered the beef and tomato soup and it was super flavorful! It was a bit thicker than expected. Also got some appetizers of takoyaki + egg + fried fish. Don’t recommend the fried fish because it’s mostly batter but it was still pretty good. Ten shin ramen is thick with a delicious crab omelet inside. The noodles are delicious here! I’d recommend coming to try their dishes! It’s unique and can’t really find these elsewhere. It’s also filling! Keep in mind, you will have to wait for a bit. Parking is also limited. I gotta come back to try the other noodles!
