WELCOME to Food for the Soul! We are a cozy little cafe/restaurant that was established in 2015. We opened to advocate against child abuse in honor of Forrest who passed away February 17th 2015 he was my grandson and so we can also serve the valley with great homemade food!

I’ve been eating here at least a few times a month. Flavorful, big portions, gluten-free options and friendly service! I’ve tried the tacos, keto burritos, gyro (can do with the keto wrap), salads, and their enchiladas (all various meats, and sub corn tortillas). It’s one of my go-tos for takeout and pick-up for lunch and dinner!

Ordered Pork Enchiladas and they gave me chicken instead. I didn’t like the enchiladas either. The spice was way too much and I also didn’t care for the white sauce either. Seems like it should be cold not hot. He service was good though. I don’t think I would return.

Phenomenal breakfast burrito and specialty lotus energy drink. Exceptional customer service. I had ordered through door dash and the driver canceled the order. The manager (maybe owner?) called me to ask if I had canceled and I said no and I was bummed about it. She personally delivered my food! Best breakfast burrito I’ve ever had and the cilantro lime sauce is a must have addition! Definitely check this place out!

Good food, but service is a little slow. They have accommodating gluten free options. I’ve only had their sandwiches, not the Mexican food yet. Their fries are delicious, and they have a long list of sauces/dressings with many dairy free options.

They have WONDERFUL food and their prices are just TOO low. This is a must try. You’ll want to go back. BUT. Some curious or odd operational issues. They charge an extra 3 to 4 Percent if you pay by cc and list it as a tax on check. And they don’t mention it on menu or anywhere else I saw. Service is slow and awkward. Couple of other things which are Easy fixes. So maybe just sign of the times.
