Got food through door dash here. Beware of ordering the iced tea in the bag. The bag leaks. Everywhere. My food was coated with iced tea. Luckily these fine folks use high quality containers that don’t allow outside liquids in.

Yes!! Another good soul food spot in Pottstown. Very pleased with the food here. The wings were large, delicious and seasoned perfectly. Finally a spot that also has good potato salad.Everything was banging! The daughter was very nice to speak with. This place lives up to the name and I will definitely be back.

The owners are such sweet people. And then the food is fantastic as well! The corn bread just a little sweetness great texture. The jerked chicken, party in your mouth! The chicken wings were perfectly done. The fried fish was salmon which I was not expecting but of course it was delicious. And one of my favorites the mac and cheese forget about it!! I wish it was a meal. Peach cobbler so yummy. I don’t think it’s cooked just from the soul this food it’s also cooked from their heart. Thank you

I was recommended here from my manager at work. OMG THIS WAS SO GOOD!!! Finally something different than fast food. I got the 3 wings with Mac and cheese as my side, very delicious. Also their homemade lemon ice tea was amazing!!!! 10/10 recommend if you want to try something new. I will be coming back!!

When ever I need a good home cooked soul food meal this is my spot. The owners are good down earth people. You can tell it’s genuine too. I am very picky when it comes to potato salad. With that said I usually leave with at least one side of potato salad. Definitely stop in and get your grub on

My family and I order 3 different dinner plates so we all could taste everything. We got the fried chicken, fried catfish, fried shrimp, Mac and cheese cabbage collard greens and yams, pineapple upside down cake and strawberry cake and all the meals came with a piece of corn bread. EVERYTHING WAS SO DELICIOUS! That’s hard to do with picky people. We spent about $76 and it was worth every cent. The staff was wonderful and sweet!! HIGHTLY RECOMMENDED!
