OK when you pull in you may think to yourself should I go in here the answer is yes yes you should this little café has the best fried catfish this side of the Mississippi and it has soup beans and cornbread that my mama would be proud of if you live in the area or if you’re here visiting on vacation if you’re not getting food from here you are missing out my wife got the cheeseburger and she absolutely fell in love! Super clean super nice people the owner cooks everything from scratch nothing is bought from a food company premade.

I was a little worried initially walking in. The menu was basic, with VERY fair prices.(low priced in compared to most of America) Little did I know, the quality of cooking resembles that of moms. This food is as down home American, it can get. I would highly recommend. Great courteous service too!

If I’m not mistaken, the “pub” part of this is now called Captin’s Cantina. It has been added to one of our favorite places in Pulaski Co. Do yourself a favor and get the brisket nachos…. so good! The fish is amazing as well. Friendly employees, pool tables, karaoke nights, and bands top off their great atmosphere.
