We had a craving for dim sum and locals recommended this restaurant. The service was excellent. The dim sum was good. The chicken feet was in one of the best tasting sauces ever. Meaty feet with plenty of sauce. The beef balls, siu mai (pork hash), ha gow, and steamed peanut and chives dumpling were all done well. It was just my partner and I so we did not order too much. Definitely worth coming here if you have a dim sum craving. The tea was also hot and good.

Fast service. Not in the style most Americans are used to but Chinese-style, fast and efficient. Hot tea at your table within 2 minutes of walking in. Hot dim sum the way it should be served. You know it’s legit by the groups of old Chinese men socializing on the tables on the river outside and the Chinese being spoken by local diners inside. Food is what you expect, quality. Take your stamped ticket to the cashier when your ready to cash out. No waiting for your hostess who may be on a cigarette break. Highest marks from me.

This used to be our best Dimsum place before 2020, pandemic time. Food is still tested great but the price is much higher. Suggest to go after 11am. Less chance to get the leftover Dimsum from reheating

Reflecting on my childhood growing up in NYC Chinatown, I can say that this place is legit. You can’t go wrong with the quality and price of each menu item being offered. Talk story with the friendly staff!

Came here for dim sum and was pleasantly surprise how good the food was. It was a group of 7 of us and we were well accommodated. We order a bunch of dim sum dishes that you would normally see at restaurant and the food was pretty good. I alway judge a dim sum restaurant by how they make the chicken feet is and at Fook Lam, it was pretty good. Although the food is good, it is a bit overpriced for me. Each dish was more than 4$ and the serving size was not the greatest. I hope the owner sees this review and make some changes if they want to grow.

This is our new fave place for dim sum. They have the Chinese fried donut (you tiao). Service was quick and friendly staff. The har gow that we got that day the shrimp smell but didn’t want to make a fuzz so we didn’t even bother taking it home. Everything else was delish. Next time I will try the Chinese pizza not sure that is but try it.

Service was quick and nice but the taste was pretty average unfortunately. Not up to par to Canada, Vancouver’s or Toronto’s standards. Charsiu bao’s mantou and meat ratio was not proportioned; tofu flower was on the bland side but century porridge had generous pork amount and egg tarts were flaky and tasted very buttery. The rest was okay; sizes were not very generous.

Pretty good dim sum and service! Enjoyed seeing the dim sum hawkers with the carts and carrying the trays to the table! Dim sum was fresh and hot! They dim sum staples like siu mai, hargow, chicken feet, chives and chicken wrap, bean curd wrappers, etc. Their chow fun and noodles are good! Parking was good at the cultural plaza!

Dim sum was good. Satisfying, pretty standard. Loved the chicken feet. Service was quick. Early lunch on a Friday was not too busy.

Fook Lam. Showed up early to avoid the dim sum rush, showed our vax cards, service was attentive, trays and carts came around frequently. Tea tasted amazing. Atmosphere was not packed but seemingly steady pace and tabled filled fast. Some of my favorites are the look fun (shrimp and beef), chicken feet was deep in flavor and spices, gelatinous yet tender and sticky. deep fried mochi with meat is a MUST. (Hardly noticeable in pictures) and shrimp wonton, yeah everything was tasty! Least favorite were the soup dumplings, might’ve been my taste honestly, but the broth wasn’t working for me. It’s always an experience to eat dim sum. I respect the aunties very much.
