Everything was EXCELLENT! The Braised Short Ribs were so tender that I didn’t need a knife. The Jalapeño Honey Butter Calamari was so good & melted in your melt. I dipped the bread into that sauce & my heavens, so good! Hubby had the Messy Burger, so juicy & tender. We were too full to have dessert.

Wow!! Grilled octopus was amazing! We had a beet salad with a steak on the side that was perfectly done! We had a handmade pasta and a lamb chops again perfect. Chef Luca is amazing. The friendliest staff I think I’ve ever had what a gem hidden inside the Holiday Inn!!

I normally don’t eat at restaurants in hotels. Not sure why I developed that attitude, but there it is. But I was running late Sunday night and took the advice of the front desk team (hi JJ and Adraysa) to eat at Forchetta inside the Holiday Inn Center-City. (The large sign, announcing Chef Luca’s win on Food Network’s CHOPPED, also helped guide me in.) Dining solo sometimes lands me at the bar, but I prefer a table and was led to one immediately and without anything but the warmest welcome. Ibok was there quickly to remove the second place-setting and fill my water glass. Arturo was right behind her to answer any menu questions. I’d hoped for the Pappardell Pasta, but they were unable to make it that evening. Arturo offered to ask Chef if he’d be willing to make something similar. I am always up any time a Chef wants to improvise. The entrée he created was exceptional. I haven’t had seafood of that caliber in a long time, and I wish I could have ordered a bowl of the broth for later. It smelled incredible and tasted even better. I ate as much as I could and while full, I didn’t feel stuffed. A glass of the Montepuciano was a delightful accompaniment. Ibok and Arturo are an exceptional team. I felt watched over and cared for, and had I more time, I would have stayed for dessert. Thank you for a wonderful evening. I will be back.

Went at a slow time and for a while we were the only patrons. Great service and I had the Rigatoni which was EXCELLENT! Bill was less than $70 and I had a drink from the bar and a full salad with dessert.

What a great birthday dinner for our daughter tonight. Chef Luca did an amazing job with dinner… Grilled octopus was phenomenal, lasagna outstanding, Angus ribeye cook just right! Amazing service from Donnie at the bar and Arturo in the dining room… This was our first time and we’ll be back soon! I grew up in Italy… Felt like home!

We were guests in the holiday inn hotel and decided to enjoy breakfast here. They offer both breakfast and dinner. The breakfast was amazing and a great price. The service was wonderful, so much we came back later for drinks and dessert.

This was night one of restaurant week and my friends and I were so excited! Turns out they created basically a whole new menu for restaurant week consisting of dishes they don’t typically serve at their restaurant. None of us would go back. My friend really disliked her tuna carpaccio starter which didn’t look like carpaccio (way too thick) and didn’t have any flavor. Our meals were “ok”, nothing remarkable, and came out early while we were still finishing our starters. But the wort part was dessert. Two of us got the “cappuccino cheesecake”- it didn’t taste like cheesecake at all. It tasted like egg (very eggy!) and wasn’t sweet at all. Neither of us ate any more after our first bite or two. The table behind us said the same thing about the cheesecake- they had to spit it out. This experience was disappointing. I recommend forchetta sticks with their own menu and highlights dishes they’re great at/known for. I don’t recommend going for restaurant week.
