This restaurant was bleeping EXCELLENT. I’d say this is one of the better restaurants I’ve been to in recent memory. I’m not a local, but I enjoyed the vibe. Kinda reminds me of a cross between a NYC vibe, mixed with Seattle. Next time I’m in town, I’m going to try my best to patronize again. Ideally during lunch or early dinner so I can feel the street vibe.

I was impressed! Everything was perfect. The atmosphere was calm and inviting at the same time. The waitstaff were all so attentive, very knowledgeable, and polite. The menu was simple but interesting. I had farm egg, truffle pasta, branzino and baked Alaska.

My experience at Forest trail is very nice. The ambience was relaxing and the staff were extremely friendly and attentive. The quality of my meal was great and beautiful to look at and full of flavors. Do you believe the pricing to be quite high might be due to location and service received as I’ve been to very similar restaurants I have not paid as much for the amount of food served.

Food was great but didn’t exactly knock our socks off for the cost. Service was great as well, our server was attentive, polite and put in 100% effort. Several server staff (8 to 10 individuals) were milling around near the bar as our service began, having a watercooler conversation. One fellow was quite loud, obnoxious in both conversational topics and volume/tone, so it was off putting in a fine dining restaurant. Front of house should address this.

I wanted to treat my parents on their 60th anniversary, unfortunately the food was rather disappointing. The branzino was highly recommended by our waitress, however it was not fresh, cold and definitely not prepared to order, and it was $52. The duck plate was hot but the duck itself was also cold and overcooked. The pasta plate was the best one, so I would recommend ordering only a pasta dish if you go.

Used to love Forest. It’s not cheap and I’ve been there many, many times and spent lots of money. Writing to express my extreme disappointment in their lack of accommodation. Made a reservation on July 23 for a 50th birthday dinner for 8 people for 6:45pm Saturday August 26. Called Tuesday August 1 to try and add one more to the reservation. They simply won’t do it – the options were to leave the reservation for 8 people, or move the reservation to 8:45. Those can’t be the only two options. This is far enough away that I’m sure something can be done. Push some 4-top tables together to allow us to fit. Do something. Not impressed at all and won’t be back.

Food was top notch as usual and service was in point. We had the carrot salad and the farm egg to start, wow they were really very delicious. Had the trout and agnolotti with squash which were both very tasty. Just felt a bit rushed at the end, felt as though they wanted to turn the table, or would be 5 stars.

I’ve been to Forest a few times before but not in years so I was excited to go back. It did not disappoint. From the relaxing patio environment to the service to the food, everything was practically perfect. Seared scallop appetizer was a generous portion and perfectly cooked. The Wagyy tomahawk was the real star. It’s one of the best steaks I’ve had in the area and came with a choice of two sides. Drinks and coconut sorbet were tasty too!
