Came into this Boston/sports themed little diner a little on the late side, (1:30 when they close at 2:00) promised to eat quickly. What I received was my corned beef hash and eggs with crispy home fries and buttered rye toast cooked perfectly on a positively adorable red tray with all the ketchup, salt and pepper, and jelly I would need. I could hardly finish it, and it only cost me $11.50 after taxes. Whether you’re taking the Forest Hills T into Boston or gearing up to take the southwest corridor into Back Bay, Forest Hills Diner is a great place to fuel up on good food served fast!

Life is Short! F …. It up Family, Flavor, Friends. Old school diner right in Boston no frills , just good ppl and good food. Everything was seasoned perfectly and they even did extra crispy corn beef hash right. If your in the area def worth checking out.

I used to come to this place back in high school, the food is still good until you let them know something was wrong, then everyone starts talking in another language and has an attitude. My food had hair in it after I complained about the wait. Customers ordered and left after they ate, and I was waiting for scrambled eggs bacon and home fries? Still? I ordered my food separate from a group, paid separate and still had to wait almost 40 minutes for my initial order. Not good at all, and I’ll post a pic of my plate

I ordered 1 egg w/ bacon & home fries, & toast mind you they are 4 minutes from my job, my food was cold. The home fries tastes like they boiled them and then decided to fry them but they didn’t fry them enough because they were slimy. And the toast was so buttery I could have made a grilled cheese! First time, & last time! Thanks but NO thanks!! ♀️

Food was decent at most. It took about 20-30 minutes to receive my order. After breakfast, I walk out to my car nearly being towed from the designated diner parking spot at the request of the owner. Not one time did he ask any of the customers if they were parked in the spot.

#1 I have never been to the resturant but i do have the food delivered. I have made over 75 orders from here in the past few years and can say I only have had 2 orders that I was not happy with. 1 was they read the order wrong and instead of getting an omelette it was a sandwhich and the 2nd was horrible hash browns that were due to the pandemic as the normal potatoes were not available. Have mainly used them for breakfast but have ordered the burgers a few times which i also liked. All being said they are my goto for breakfast when open. unfortunatly they have been closed for a couple of weeks now. hope they reopen soon
