This place is so delicious! I love the food, I love the service and I love the vibe. It’s more of a casual place which in my experience, always has the best food! The staff is very friendly and accommodating to people like myself who love spicy, but also to other people who may not be able to handle it. The server made sure to ask how spicy I like this before hand and the food came out quickly and delicious! I would highly recommend if you’re in the area and need some good spicy food for lunch or dinner!

My friend recommended this place to me and it did not disappoint! The wait staff was friendly and attentive and were happy to make food suggestions. absolutely loved it. My friends and I enjoyed the flavors of the dishes. The naan was so fresh and yummy However, my FAVORITE part of the night was the Affordable, unique, and delicious! I know where we are going the next time I am craving Indian!

Fantastic restaurant, major improvements because of the new owners. Bathroom was clean, dining area had cool mood lighting, and the staff was very accommodating. Food was incredible, they asked how spicy I want it, taste tested, and it was perfect level for me. I recommended this spot to my friends who love Indian food. Definitely going back soon!

To state it simply, the experience was absolutely wonderful. My daughter and I really enjoyed all of the dishes we shared and the chicken biryani was probably the best I have ever had. The service was great as well. Will be back.

Ok. So i really hate to do this but man, this place does not know how to make food. The management has changed but clearly the chefs havent. Taste is bland. The tikka masala tastes like tomato soup lol. I really want this place to succeed but they really need an overhaul on the ingredients they use. I genuinely think most of the reviews in the past 2-4 months have been posted by friends and family of the new management because there is absolutelt no way that anyone with tastes buds for desi food is gonna eat over here and say the food is made with good ingredients and is “authentic”. 1 star for the naan, though. Refular and garlic naan are very good.

I visited this place several times in the past and thought it was perfectly fine Indian food. On this recent visit though, food was sorely disappointing. My chicken tikka masala was watery like soup and the chicken was blocky like a tandoori chicken appetizer. I suspect there’s a new chef. Can’t honestly recommend.

Food safety violation! I received obviously heated up spoiled food. 4/13/23 chicken Tikka masala served is spoiled. It even smells spoiled. The palak paneer is also spoiled. Food quality should be of utmost concern. You are going to get people sick!

We’ve been a HUGE fan of this restaurant since before the new ownership and change of name from Aaheli to Forest Hills Indian a few months back. I am happy to report that the food and service is as good if not better than it was before and it was already great. Vikram aka Victor, now one of the co owners with his chef, put their hearts and souls into offering delicious Indian specialties from succulent Tandoori chicken and lamb to amazingly seasoned ..and spiced to your specific request… sauces like Shrimp Malabar…a creamy coconut And mustard seed sauce layered with fresh ginger and curry leaves, sauteed chunks of soft and seasoned okra with bits of onion and peppers, tender pieces of lamb bathed in a pepper chili and onion sauce and delicious chicken makani or black lentils palace style aka daal maharani and dont pass up the best spinach and cheese aka palak paneer in Queens …silky luscious and so beautifully seasoned. To name just a few. So check them out. They deliver, you can pick up or eat in the pleasant dining room on the south side Yellowstone Blvd between queens Blvd and Woodhaven …usually pretty easy to find nearby street parking.
