Nice presentation and staff, didn’t quite nail the requested cook temp. Bread pudding was a little bland. Still good:-)

WOW! I booked this restaurant to celebrate our anniversary. From the hostess to our waiter and even the manager — everyone went above and beyond to make us feel special. The table was set with beautiful flowers and candles, and the staff had a handwritten card waiting for us. The service was impeccable and we 100% recommend this place to others. We ordered the steak frites, tofu bowl, and Mac n cheese. Every bite was flavorful! Big thank you to the whole Forge team for making our anniversary so special!

Some of the most thoughtfully created, delicious meals of my life! Locally sourced, fresh and the most creative taste profiles!! From the panna cotta to the lemon lavender cake (as I would call it, they have much better names for them on their gorgeous menu!) to venison and wild boar – nothing was less than exceptional. It is AMAZING to have a wild-game centric menu in Chattanooga. a MUST when visiting or wanting a beautiful, delicious meal locally. Really truly astounded with the creations, pairings and taste profiles. 10000000/10. Chef Chris, Chef Angie and Chef Jason all pour their hearts into the creations and you can tell! Many thanks! We will be back <3

Phenomenal food! Chef Chris Moore has created a menu that is highly creative and amazingly delicious. We had several dishes because we like to try different foods. We had the watermelon and cucumber salad (pictured), The charcuterie (pictured), The bison carpaccio. Save room for dessert: chocolate banoffee pie, lemon ricotta cake and my very favorite peach pie with homemade vanilla ice cream and caramel sauce. Chef Chris changes the menu every few months so there’s always something new to taste. The atmosphere is comfortable and elegant. The service was excellent.

The wife and I took a three night vacation at the Chattanoogan Hotel and ended up eating at Forge on three successive nights and for breakfast one morning because it was just so damned amazing. We tried nearly every dish on the seasonal menu and found them all to be triumphs in their own way, from the Strip steak (which included a vegetable medley that I, an avowed carnivore/reluctant vegetable eater, ate every single bite of) to the burrata salad (one of the best we’ve ever had) to the desserts. There was not a single dish we did not like, though some, like the Whipped Feta appetizer, because instant favorites. Even the dessert menu, sometimes a weak point for restaurants, did not disappoint; the Peach Almond Financier and the Panna Cotta were standouts, and the Chocolate Ganache is also worthy of mention.

Lovely restaurant, refreshed and relaxing decor and good food. Our server was excellent and engaging, making sure we were well looked after. Their made-in-house smoked cherry jam was amazing I wish they would jar it and sell it. Thank you!

My sister and I brought our aunt to the brunch buffet on Easter. Overpriced and not good. The best thing was the ceviche. But definitely not worth $55 with an automatic 18% gratuity added (which I do not understand). Maybe the food is good if you order off the menu, but the buffet was a huge disappointment.

I stayed at the Chattanoogan with my family and we had the most amazing experience at their restaurant called Forge! It was very quiet and we got to talk a lot with a chef Jason who cooked us the MOST delicious meals, not one but TWO meals that were out of this world. When you can make green beans taste phenomenal that is truly a gift. The flavors, juiciness, tender meat, exquisite cheeses on the chef’s board, I could go on and on.

The monthly Sunday brunch was good. $20 is a perfect price point for “good.” Unfortunately, the cost per person for the monthly Sunday brunch here is $50. Not worth that price. On that scale it was mediocre at best. Save yourself a trip downtown. There are much better choices for brunch in Chattanooga.

Nice atmosphere, spacious dining room. Kind servers. Great cocktail (got the Lavender Lemonade). But food disappointed. Wife’s steak and greens had steak that was difficult to fully chew. Had to ask for a steak knife so I could cut it against the grain in smaller pieces. Server should have brought steak knife with it. Watermelon salad had some moldy lettuce (had one bite that was full of mold smell/taste). Charcuterie board had some cheese that had sat in water and was starting to dissolve. Bread was wonderful. Peach dessert had a wonderful pastry, but they used something like Great Value ice cream; very disappointing. Not likely to come back.
