There’s a reason why they are 5 stars. This is some of the best pizza I’ve had in a while. Without a doubt some of the best you can ever get in the Sac area. My man George knows how to run a shop, everything is done with pride from the ingredients to the placement of the toppings.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Formaggio Pizza Express in El Dorado Hills and it was fantastic! I ordered the Mediterranean pizza and it was absolutely delicious – the toppings were fresh and flavorful, and the crust was perfectly crispy. But what really made my experience memorable was the excellent service provided by Steve, the manager. He went out of his way to make sure that I had everything I needed and that my dining experience was enjoyable. His warm and welcoming personality was a real highlight of my visit. Overall, I had a great experience at Formaggio Pizza Express and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for delicious pizza and outstanding service. Thank you Steve and the whole Formaggio team for such a wonderful experience!

BEST to go pizza around. This is family owned business and they make their own dough, sauce and ranch dressing. I love all the fresh veggie toppings too. We had a small 1/2 veggie 1/2 pepperoni pizza for lunch today. My husband loved it and he’s picky about his pizza. Be sure to support our local businesses EDH.

Really nice place. Ordering online was simple and allows tons of customization, even “double cut” for the kids (smaller slices). They have tons of cool sides like wings and even tater tots. Pizzas were excellent. Staff was super nice. Will definitely get pizza takeout here again. Check them out!

Formaggio Pizza Express in El Dorado Hills, CA is one of the best Pizzeria’s around! They’re customer service is amazing and they make their own crust and sauce. For those who are vegan, there are options for you as well, they make a great cauliflower crust! There are a plethora of sides as well, such as wings, cheesy breadsticks, jalapeño poppers, mozzarella sticks, and classic French Fries. If you’re looking for a great pizza and amazing side options, Formaggio should be your next stop!

This is some great pizza! We’ve ordered 3 times over the last month and each time the pizza is perfection. The carnivores in our family love the Formaggio Combo while I love the Mediterranean Gourmet (sub white garlic sauce instead of pizza sauce). Everything tastes super fresh & the toppings are really loaded on there! Nice crisp, thin crust. Formaggio is going into our weekly rotation!
