What an incredible find! My husband’s mother owned an asian restaurant for 17 years and ordering from Nancy felt like grandma was in town! She uses natural from scratch ingredients, and cooks out of an industrial kitchen. The pickup was easy, the food was delicious and very reasonably priced for Boulder.

Nancy is the owner and she operates this fantastic establishment solo. She chooses the freshest ingredients she can get her hands on and prepares all her food with passion and time. More often than not, I just ask what she recommends and it has never failed me. The steamed buns, dumplings and sui mai are delectable. I’ve also tried the pork belly over rice, veggie tofu delight and shrimp fried rice, highly recommend! Don’t sleep on Formosa, everything is made to order with love and umami!

My husband and I ordered takeout from here today after looking for some legitimate Taiwanese food. Holy moly, it did not disappoint! The food was amazingly good and gave me such nostalgia for when I lived in Taiwan. Everything was served hot and tasted super fresh. Nancy is extremely sweet, kind, and communicative. She even called later to check in on how the food was! ♥️ We highly recommend this kitchen!

If you really can’t drive to Denver for this, Formosa can’t satisfy a craving for some dim sum. It’s a bit overpriced for the amount you get. The sticky rice doesn’t come wrapped in a leaf, and the size of the dim sum items aren’t comparable to what I’m used to having when I’m back home. Waited 10 minutes outside while my order was being prepared.

This is my new favorite Taiwanese/Chinese restaurant in Boulder. The chopped pork over rice was great and came with a well-made tea egg. Egg tarts were great too. Nancy, the owner, was really nice. Happy to have found it. It’s a little out of the way, but don’t let that stop you.

BEST PLACE TO EAT IN BOULDER. new location, food is still top notch! the bubble tea is made fresh, if you order the fruit ones it’s fresh fruit no powder! the chef only gets the highest quality and freshest ingredients, so you know you’re getting a healthy and delicious meal. and the prices are sooooo affordable too. if you get a chance to order from here, you won’t regret it.

Love!!!! Felt like authentic taiwanese home cooking, which is so so hard to find in CO! Got the egg pancake, potstickers, congee, soymilk, and desserts. Absolutely LOVED the potstickers but most of all the egg pancake!! Reminded me of the egg pancakes you buy in taiwanese breakfast joints and it brought me so much joy. I wish there was a menu item where you could put the fried cruller in the egg pancake, though I guess I can do it myself as well Would 100% come back to support a small, woman/family-owned business!

Interesting place, a little bit hard to find as it’s in a unit inside shared kitchen facility rather a store. Nice lady running the business. Part of their offering will be available at Ocean Pacific Markets (all three stores) start Oct 10, 2022. Liked the Pork belly rice the best. Crispy sticks are great. Eel rice also good.
