We had the beignets, the hog’s head sandwich, and the souffle pancakes. All were delicious, though the beignets may have been the surprising highlight. They were creamy due to the ricotta batter, yet still quite light. The caramel coconut dipping sauce was outstanding. The sandwich was tasty, but perhaps a bit too rich without enough of an acidic component to cut through. The souffle pancake was almost exactly as advertised. The texture was heavenly, evoking both pancakes and souffles successfully. One minor criticism might be that the sauces were somewhat overly sweet overall.

The Food Villain
Excellent food, perfectly cooked, with rich flavors. My beef cheek was melting and the scallops were seared very well, they were huge, very fresh and very tasty. I visited for restaurant week and I would probably visit again.

We started out with Corn & Truffle Beignets. This was excellent and my favorite course. We than had the Miso roasted eggplant, good not memorable. I had Scallops, small plate. Would not have been enough to eat alone.My friend had duck. Dessert cheesecake. All good. All above average not spectacular except for the beignets and bread.
