Great food for over a century! Veteran friendly too. Sadly, their hot dogs are a wee tad anemic.

What a cool little place! I was visiting Fort Wayne for business and was told by my client to come and try this place out. It did not disappoint for what it was and they only do a handful of things but they do it well.

I was ashamed to admit that it took me 40 years to eat here for the first time. My daughter and I enjoyed our first experience there together. Food was as expected with the classic recipe. The pie was good as well. The staff were friendly and entertaining. They all seemed to love working there.

Our server took everyone’s order which was 3 1/2 tables full of people without writing a single thing down, and when he returned, he had everything correct and to the right tables with no problem at all. It’s always a great experience eating hotdogs at Ft. Wayne’s. Famous Coney Island.

Old style diner and easy basic menu. The coneys are amazing! We get them “sloppy” which means they add more coney sauce. The cheeseburgers are OK but the coneys are where it’s at. Make sure to get a few to go. Oh, and the service is great.

We went to try their famous Coney island hotdogs. Was not overly impressed. Just normal size hotdogs with mustard, onions and chili on them. You will need to order a few to fill you up. I would have been more impressed if they use ball park weiners. One time eat for experience. Restaurant has been in business for over 100 years
