We love this place. Used to go there all the time until we moved farther away. The food is delicious, the staff does a great job, and the atmosphere around early lunchtime is usually calm. They have an assortment of foods for most tastes.

I went here for lunch because I wanted to see if any of those bad reviews were true. I especially thought all of the reviews about tipping were pretty funny and was so curious to see for myself. Although it would have made this review much more funny, no one pressured me to tip. I did tip because the server was attentive with my drink and plates. The food was really good for Chinese buffet. Fresh and hot and a good variety. The sushi, although basic, was fresh and good as well.

For starters they make you pay as soon as you walk in the door. My boyfriend and I tried beef and fish items first, the fish was extremely fishy and mushy with little to no flavor. I tried the beef kabob which was very dry and both my boyfriend and I both tried another beef dinner option that was extremely chewy. The noodles and rice were average. Now let’s talk about the sesame chicken… Taste was fine, but as I was cutting it with a spoon, I noticed a color that didn’t look like chicken. The mystery meat was a dark pink in most spots unlike any “chicken” I’ve ever eaten before. Ironically the “chicken” had the same texture and look as the pork in my pork fried rice… I asked the server what meat was in the sesame sauce and he hesitated before saying chicken. I told him I didn’t believe him and that it was dark pink and tasted like pork. He became very nervous and walked away. When my boyfriend and I went to leave, the server practically followed us to the door with a tray of fortune cookies repeating “tip is accepted” over and over. Craziest buffet I’ve ever been to.

Have eaten here several times with family. The times I eaten here it used to be called Jumbo Buffet. Food selections was okay and good. Always liked the fried chicken wings and teriyaki chicken on a stick some of my favorite foods. Sometimes enjoying the clams and crab legs. Outside of eating their sherbet and butter pecan ice cream for dessert. Their fried biscuit with sugar wasn’t too shabby. Been a few years since last visit restaurant.

I give the food a 3 star. But the service is why I left 1. First had to pay at the door before eating, which I understand. I paid card. As I was leaving the table afterwards the “server” very rudely asked if I left her a tip. Which I didn’t leave cash cause I paid in card. Never going back. Waste of time. Do better.

This place has severely gone down hill! Brought my children for dinner and had to pay 1st which was fine! But as we were preparing to leave the waitress, who had been hovering the whole time, started smacking the table and tip tray. Yelling at me and other patrons that she needed a tip. I stood there staring in disbelief. I always tip. Everywhere i go. I went on to explain i pit it on my card and she proceeded to rush over to the “woman” taking everyones pyment at the door. And she said i never tipped! What a lie! I hd put $10 on my card bf we even ate! NEVER AGAIN! This place is horrible! Dirty dishes and horrible customer service! Im also filling a complaint with my card company for the tip! As she proceeded to walk in between my children and myself to stop them from following me! How disgusting!

Worst food in the world. Don’t waste your time. You have to pay as soon as you walk in. Almost $50 for two people and it was NOT worth it AT ALL. There were not many options. The food was cold & seemed stale, like it was sitting out all day. Hair in the ice cream. Dirty dishes. They should have stayed closed & never opened up again. Before I walked out, they had the nerve to ask me if I was gunna tip the servers. Hell No! Only tip I got for them is to shut down & try again next time. A Good Buffet is Flaming Grill in Newburgh.

Food was hard and not tasty at all. the coconut shrimp didn’t even taste like coconut and it was hard. The sweet and sour for the chicken taste like metal and a little tiny plastic container that all restaurants give you sauce in was $1 each for like wasabi or Ginger really bad will not go back
