Food tastes amazing! Me and my grandma ate there today and it is very pure. I ordered the sesame chicken and instead of it being overly sweet, it is bold and strong in flavor. The rice seems small in grain size but it is still filling and taste great! I had fried rice for reference. It also comes with and egg roll. The staff is very sweet, I would definitely dine in again!

I’m really not one to post reviews but I had to for this one. Staff was nice and everything, location isn’t an issue, but the food genuinely is not good. The fried rice is quite bland and has very little to it, and pretty much the same thing with the lo mein. My daughter got the sweet and sour chicken and at first was okay with it but then said it had a very odd aftertaste and couldn’t eat it anymore. Almost $40 spent here and I could get something with more flavor from a box. Again I don’t like posting negative reviews but this is just inedible. The staff were very nice but it just doesn’t make up for the food.

The service was fast and efficient, very quaint family owned business. The service check ins were appropriately timed and the waiter was observant with my groups needs. The serving sizes were very generous and the food was good. The crab wontons were the right amount of creamy and crunchy (not liquid-y like other places) the shrimp lo mein was delicious and the soups were fresh and hot. 100/10 do recommend. #support small businesses 🙂

Read the reviews after I had ordered and disagree with a few of them. Egg rolls were on point and super crispy. Sesame chicken was on point and the beef and broccoli was amazing. Pricing wasn’t too bad and delivery was fast and packaged nicely. 7/10 on quality 9/10 on flavor 9/10 on delivery. Its better than the others i have tried in the area,Will be ordering again in the future.

Large menu, so there will be dishes that are better to get than others. I enjoyed the fried dumplings in particular. They are quick and courteous with their service. Decent space to dine-in but it looked like locals liked getting take out.

Our family has been eating at Fortune City for a number of years! It is a small family-owned restaurant that has remained at this same location on South Wadsworth for quite a while. The menu has a good variety of dishes to please anyone’s palate. Their food is always quite good. The Sesame Chicken is absolutely to die for! Not knowing how to explain the Sesame Chicken, the chicken is cooked to a light crisp and is so flavorful. The Kung Pao Three Delight (shrimp, chicken and scallops) is my favorite, with just the right, light amount of spicy flavor and the chicken is so tender and flavorful! Fortune City is a restaurant that everyone definitely needs to try!!! They also have take-out!

This place use to be Szechuan Chinese Restaurant and I’ve gone there 15 + years. Had I known they had changed owners (name too) I would have thought twice. I took an acquaintance there and I guess fortunately he rudely walked out. When I went back I’m glad he did because the food was disgusting and I walked out without eating and was still charged $30!!! I DO NOT recommend patron to this restaurant. P.S. if negative stars were available this place would be rated a -10.

YUM! Tried this for the first time tonight and we will be ordering from here again. Friendly service over the phone and at delivery. Hot food, and so tasty. Didn’t get a photo of the food before we dug in. We got two dinner combo platters (beef broccoli and sesame chicken), a large plain Leo mein, and a small wonton soup. Total it was 33$ and free delivery!

My review is mixed. I had combination fried rice and egg rolls. While the fried rice flavor was delicious and I like the fact that it had lots of veggies and even some onion in it which I love, the beef was like tough gray shoe leather- very unappealing! The shrimp- actually had several! and chicken were good and the egg rolls were average. Delivery itself was on point, arrived hot, and they still deliver without having to go through any delivery service, which saves lots of money.

Small restaurants are the best! My friends and I have been going to Fortune City after game nights for about 20 years now, & they never disappoint. The food is delicious, they have a good variety of menu items, & the prices are reasonable. Best of all, their portion sizes are perfect. So many Asian restaurants either give you way too much or not quite enough, but Fortune City hits that sweet spot where I can finish the whole meal & get full without ending up so stuffed that I end up disgusted with myself.
