We took a quick ride over to Dalton, Ga in search of a Chinese restaurant for Mother’s Day and found this lovely little place that had big portions of some very delicious food. Very friendly and courteous staff that was very busy serving a large family plus other patrons but was very attentive with beautiful smiles. What a wonderful gem and find!

This is THE place to go for authentic Chinese food in Dalton. A good bit of the menu reminds me of my grandma’s cooking, and the atmosphere and service remind me of the motherland. I always opt for one of the Chef Specialties such as the Chow Fun or the Singapore noodles, but I also like the Mongolian Beef (I recommend the sugar-free variant). However, I haven’t really had a bad item from them yet!

The food was absolutely the worst Chinese food I’ve ever had. I thought the beef and vegetables being cooked to order would be good but the beef was like rubber and the vegetables weren’t cooked the least bit. It turned my stomach. My sister ordered the flaming sampler appetizers and I’m not lying when I say all 5 items weren’t fit to be eat. My sister did say the one won ton she got in her soup was OK. You would think this being the oldest Chinese restaurant in Dalton that it would be better but tha explains why there were only 3 tables during an after church rush. Shame on them for serving food not fit to eat.

I haven’t ate here in over a year, I don’t know if it has new owners or what but I got take out tonight and it was awful!! Fried rice smelled like bacon grease for some reason and was dry and had no flavor, egg drop soup, no flavor, crab rangoon were greasy and stale, sesame chicken was just disgusting….won’t be wasting my money here again any time soon.

I’m not giving it a zero because the kiddos liked it, but keep in mind they also think their boogers and they think dog food tastes good too. It came in to go boxes? Which is weird, no neat boxes that you usually receive at chinese restaurants. The fried rice was definitely uncle Ben’s fried rice packet with a lot of salt and the sweet n sour chicken was not fluffy and crunchy, it was just all crunch with the fattest and smallest pieces of chicken. The crab rangoons had a small pinch of cream cheese(could have been mayo?) and they were HARD. Everything tasted old and tweaked to taste edible for children, but definitely did not taste like old fortune cookie. Highly disappointed

Disgusting doesn’t even describe it, Ordered WonTon soup got One wonton and a bowl of carrots and peas,Ordered flaming appetizer tray,got dry chicken on a stick,beef jerky ,grease tasting shrimp,everything on the tray was bad,entree was brought out before appetizers,Beef was rubbery,vegetables crunchy really bad meal,I complained and was told,sorry for your bad experience.Resturant was not busy for a Sunday after church,Should have been a clue.I do not recommend this resturant.

Our meals tasted as if they had been sitting awhile, everything but the Mongolian beef it was very good. I Had to pay for separate orders just to get fried rice, even though it was a meal. They said they Don’t give fried rice with meals you have to pay full price for it separately. I was told they were sorry they left it out but there was nothing they could do about it. This saddens me. I always like to give opportunity for amends. Because it allows me to continue being a loyal customer. I was very disappointed.

If could give zero stars I would. Lo mein wasn’t good, sauce burnt, chicken wings old and greasy. Rice had a order no veggies but 1 green pee and half of carrot.. no plastic silverware and when I asked for sauce he was a penny pincher and ask how many I needed I said 6 or 7 a course he pick the low number. Then my Mongolian chicken I order wasn’t chicken it was beef. Usually i never write reviews never in my life have I had bad food like this seriously. And they all they chicken is breaded don’t let them fool you.
