I remember eating here many years ago. I needed to make a quick stop over to SSI, so I was already in the retreat village plaza. I had my two oldest daughters who just love Chinese and have never experienced it in a buffet style setting.

10/10. The service was amazing. The staff was incredibly. Food is delicious, and so fresh. The staff makes sure you’re completely served, and checks your drinks every so often. Great portions, and prices. Definitely recommend!

The food was absolutely horrible. Egg drop soup was unflavored and thick with the consistency of snot. The gravy for the egg foo young was salty. The fried rice had zero flavor. Don’t waste your time or money.

My family has been going to Fortune House for years; we love it! The food is great, and the family that owns it is really nice. They’re not doing the dinner buffet right now, but their lunch buffet is really tasty (the chicken wings and crab rangoon are always a hit)! And you can always order off the menu. I recommend the Chow Mei Fun.

Super friendly! Awesome covid-19 precautions! Food was received promptly and was very flavorful. The portion size amazes me! I’m already too full to finish my order and am going to put it in the fridge for lunch tomorrow. She was so friendly (even with me showing up 10 mins till closing with a 20 min order!) Still one of my favorite places. Will keep coming back again and again!!
