WOW!!! Great burger (beef was tender and bread was super fluffy and yummy. I had added a side of mushroom; perfect!!!), very fun atmosphere (there were 2 kids birthday party tonight. A little loud, but was really a fun hang out place). Wings are super crispy and tastteeeeee. Staff was fun and friendly. AND this place does military discount .

I love Foster’s Grille. Their salad and chicken sandwich are nicer than Chick-Fil-A and Panera Bread. However, there was quite a noisy ruckus in the arcade from some minors playing video games, screaming their heads off, and wrestling each other. The manager was nice until I requested a receipt for my food to prove that I paid, and she rudely said, “If you didn’t pay, you wouldn’t have received a number!” With an undue attitude. She did print my receipt. Too bad the Herndon Foster’s Grille closed. The food came out quickly. The shake was nicer than Dairy Queen.

So disappointing. They claim the best wings east of the Buffalo. Bold lie. We ordered wings, fries and chicken fingers for the kid. The fryer grease was old and made everything taste gross. Frying foods 101, you can’t use old grease and it needs to be changed regularly. The wings barely had any sauce and we had to get extra. Stock blue cheese from a jar that you pay extra for. Look somewhere else for good wings. They aren’t here.

Hamburgers are great, lots of options for customizing to your taste. Next time I may consider getting the smaller burger, lots of meat. I tried Foster’s because it recently won Best Burger in the DC Metro area in Washingtonian magazine.

The place was decorated for Christmas top to bottom. Unfortunately, that’s where my compliments end. My husband and I both had chicken sandwiches. They were the consistency of rubber bands. The restaurant’s red (christmas) lighting made it appear as if I was eating raw chicken. The snappy, stretchy consistency made me think the same. After using my cell phone flashlight to check, I realized it was just extremely overcooked. What was I supposed to do? I threw it all away.

Service was good. Food was decent. This is definitely a family restaurant for younger kids/birthday parties… the environment is boisterous. Good news, beer is available for self medication. Bathrooms were also nice and clean.
