The food is delicious and Jon is a total sweetheart. Everything is made to order but it’s totally worth the wait. A little expensive, but then again what isn’t in downtown, and it’s definitely worth the price for the portion sizes you get. I always have leftovers for later!!

Not entirely what I had expected, as it seemed more like a cafeteria in a work building than an actual restaurant. It was a bit difficult for me to find since it was in the basement of a work building. But the sweet tea was great, the burger was good and the onion rings were good.

Finding the Foundation Grill is like finding true love. It doesn’t match any previous ideals you may have had as to what your soulmate may be like, but once you meet, it is a deep, true, and lasting love at first sight. It’s not quite the life companion your mother would have imagined you’d end up with, and your friends may recommend you not jump into anything too quickly, as there are so many other fish in the sea with near 5-star reviews on Yelp. But you know, and they will soon know, that deep down this is what makes your heart happy.

I had a great, fresh salad for lunch, and my friend had an awesome looking Reuben and fries. This place is a hidden gem that can be accessed from the parking garage of the Landmark Building downtown, across from Cafe and Then Some. I’m hoping next time I can try the Honey Sriracha Fries!

Don’t know what is going on lately, but orders are taking forever and they are burning the food.. Don’t know if John leaves between the hours of 11:00 am-12:00pm, but orders are never ready even when u call 20 minutes ahead of time. No one is at the register when I come down around that time. Yesterday was my last straw.. Called 15 minutes ahead of time, and my order of fries still wasn’t ready.. They were also burnt and hard. The cook dropped a few fries on the counter and decided to put them in my box still.. What?? LolMy coworkers are saying the same thing when John is not there..
